Ohtani no great shakes either going 1-8 with. A walk but it’s hidden because of the dodgers supporting cast. Frustrating part is this series should be 1-1 and we could have easily been up 2-0. We just don’t make the big plays or get the big hits when we need them

They got lucky to draw KC and Cle in what was a watered down year. They’re doing pretty much what they did for the final 80+games of the season. Just have even worse at bats mixed in and a complete embarrassment of an effort from Judge. The Dodgers wanted to hand this game away in the 9th but Judge and Volpe helped them out.

Only one other player in history with that many plate appearances in the playoffs has an average below .200. That’s how bad this is. Frankly, you have swap him and Stanton in the order instead hoping against hope. I’d say drop him further but nobody else is doing anything either. He puts up monster numbers and they don’t get where they are without him. Unfortunately, in the biggest series of his career he’s carrying over playoff failure. If Judge is hitting this series is at worst 1-1 going back to New York.
