Next 12 games on schedule

Back on topic: no NBA team should go on a 12 game losing streak. For the current Blazers it is within the realm of possibility.

I don't think we necessarily know that for sure. I'm not familiar with the coaching abilities, strategies, or styles of anyone in this forum. Very possible that someone in here--while not as credentialed--would actually be able to do the job more effectively.

We'll never know.

This is pretty funny. Nope we will never know because none in here will ever be an NBA coach i suspect. There could be a reason for that....

will be a pretty good indicator of where this team is going. All the games are going to be tuff. The only team that might be in disarray is Houston and at the beginning of he season was said to be one of the better teams in the western conference. Personally I think we will be lucky to go 4-8 and realistically I think it will be worse. Yet to see a backbone for this team and still same problems as last year.

Same "problems" as last year when we went on 13 game win streak and won 49 games. I hope we have those same "problems" in the next 12 games! Poor playoff showing doesn't change how well we played in season last year.

I am usually a guy who is a glass half full but this team just seems to be a glass half empty. Anything can happen, I might even have the winning lottery ticket but odds are that is not going to happen. With Allen's untimely death I think the players realize that major changes are going to happen to the organization. This may be the cause of their malaise.

Or is it that players worried that major changes are NOT happening?

Well during this 12 game schedule we are 1-3. Now before you all go crazy and say we are 1-1 well I say that the two GS games in this schedule are a lock to lose. I was expecting to lose to Minny and possibly win in Houston. Don't pretend to be as smart or as smart ass as some of you are but this team needs some trade help. Last year at this time we were in a 5 game losing then we went on a nice run in Feb and finished with 49 wins in a really tough conference. Yeah got swept in the offs but I don't see that happening again.
Thats why I like sports you can always expect the unexpected.

You realize there are a lot of current nba coaches and assistant coaches who worked there way up from basically nothing other than a love of the game right? Its not like NBA coaches are some sort of mythical creature that comes to us from the gum drop forest. They’re people. Im not even implying that I could, because I dont think I could. I just think there those who if they worked hard enough could.
