I hear coaches and players speak of the season in “segments” or “parts”.......Like 10 game or 5 games chunks. Was just looking and the next 5 games look tough. What are you guys realistically expecting from the upcoming 5?

We'll go 6-0 in the next 5 games.

Based on recent form? 0-5.

I'd be very happy with 2-3.

And playoff teams shouldn’t be reliant on their rookies carving out roles.

If we can beat the spurs on Sunday we go 2-3. If we don’t we lose all five.

Wednesday has all the makings of a "housed by 40" game, which means that Dame's going off for 55 and we win.

Except that it's not NBATV or TNT. Then, it'd be a lock.

tuff stretch . How many of you all go to games ? Just wondering. I've never been to a Blazer game before, and live down here in Springfield. The tickets look pretty expensive for this blue collar worker

If we have a Suite game this season you'll have to come. You and @riverman can carpool up together since he lives in Eugene.

We'll be lucky to win 1. The schedule lightens up slightly to finish the month after this stretch so I think, regardless of how these five turn out, Portland will still be hovering around .500.

Every game matters. We need win spurs and get confidence back. Okc is a winnable team and rockets will be without harden. We gotta win the tough ones.

So on pace to win 40 games sounds about right then huh?

Used to go to games all the time. But in the past 3 years, that has significantly declined. Unless it is a work function or a chance to see the S2 peeps, there is really no desire as one, on many nights it seems like the players aren't showing that much desire, and two, I have fully believed for those three years that this roster built around Dame/CJ just does not work. Until that sentiment is proven incorrect, spending money on something that isn't going anywhere that isn't overly enjoyable doesn't seem logical.

I SOOOO miss going to games where the fan intensity is high, the players are playing their butts off (win or lose) and you feel a real connection to the team. This feels very little like a team. It feels very segmented and that seems to show up on the court....for a couple of years now.

80% chance we beat the Spurs, 2 for sure losses, last 2 are toss-ups.

2-3

Maybe Portland needs a rainbow haired John 3:16 sign holder guy to sit somewhere close in the first five rows. God never loses.
