Game Thread NFC Divisional Playoff Game: Atlanta Falcons vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Both Philly RB's are going to have 20 plus carries by the end of the game.

Now I just need Saquon Barkley to fall to number 6 in the draft and the Jets can do the same thing with him and Bilal Powell.

Also, Baker Mayfield fails to us in the second.

:twothumbs:

I wouldn't worry too much. Barkley is NOT worth a 1st round pick. 2nd or 3rd is where I've got him rated, but not in round 1.

I'll be honest, this is a weak draft class in my opinion. I do like Chubb though.

Man. The quality of the NFL has gotten so lean in recent years. And I doubt Goodell even gives a shit.

You've been waiting a long time to say that.

LOL. Kind of. I've been saying it for about 5 years that the NFL will crash and burn. I just didn't know it was going to happen so quickly... I said 20 years, it may be 15!

Soccer is the future of American sports. Its only a matter if time. Its almost caught up to baseball (which is going the way of the dodo bird.) That'll make a lot of people here happy.

As long as football goes bye bye.

And baseball will always be fine.

Soccer... eh, maybe? I think it'll be an niche the entire time, IMO.

Alright, there's going to be a thread for the AFC Divisional in the OT if anyone wants to go there. I'll have it up shortly.

I feel sorry for Atlanta sports fans. Jeez. That last first down basically was a symbol of the their recent struggles.

No, it's not the future of American Sports.. not even close.

Bones.... Sometimes the tide turns when you don't want it too. I've accepted that about baseball a while ago.
Baseball's falling off but Soccers not going to become our top sport.

thFacsons choke.jpg < It's now internationally official!

I just don't see it. Baseball -has- fallen off, but it'll always be a top 3 sport (NFL, NBA, MLB).

Soccer internationally will always be huge... but in this country I just dont think it has the appeal other than the lack of commercials.. to which then the logo isn't going to even be visible on jerseys to have all the ads.

I think it's long term sell. Obviously it won't be immediate but if you look at the numbers, kids younger and younger are getting into soccer. I think given the push by the newest USSF candidates to change "pay-to-play" rules, the emerging modern sports market and just less kids involved in traditional sports in general.... The growth will be more than people think. Heck e-sports growth may be off the charts in the next decade or so.

Nah. E-sports will die soon. That is a fad. And I love video games. It's so niche.

I do agree that more and more people are playing soccer here... I just don't see it, long term or otherwise.
