...not sure what the Bears' reasoning was behind trading away 4 draft picks just to move up ONE spot to take Trubisky. They had just signed QB Mike Glennon only last month to a 3 year/$45 Mil contract. ($19 Mil guaranteed)...quite a head scratcher.
...on another front, I sure hope the Raiders' big gamble in round 1 of the draft pans out.
Yep, seems like any player whose under gone investigations, never end well, less Ray Lewis, some might say Pacman, tho' that's debatable...Big gamble in ways, with big payoffs ?? I hope so; only time will tell.
As much a gamble imo, was sacrificing 3 draft picks, or banking the farm on Trubisky. What's with da Bears, do they only scout the state of NC for QB's-??? 1st Glennon, now Trubisky; could he be the next Phil Rivers...?
Speaking of LA's teams, neither are worth supporting. The lambs- much hated in LA for Georgia Frontierre's fk over divorce from so cal, to St. Louey, damaged goods. Used to enjoy the Chargers in the days of Air Coryell, Fouts, Winslow, Joiner; or prior- Hadl to Alworth. The Fearsome Foursome was a defense to behold.
LA's a funny place for football, a bittersweet history- of defeats, kind like watching Johnny Unitas, or Joe Namath finish off the twilight of their careers in SD & LA; both beaten and broken, shells of once greatness left to rot on the sidelines, a shadow of themselves...
Most football fans in so cal, would rather see the Raiders return, we'd welcome them with open arms.... now that's the ticket-
