NFL Playoffs

It was a joke. Since nobody cries like a Hawks fan. And he was complaining about a smart football play.

Before you said you were joking when calling him a Seahawks fan and then you do it in the same thread later? You obviously weren't joking. You think anyone who complains is a Seahawks fan.

The only people complaining about the officiating today are Panthers and, ironically, Seahawks fans (I'm curious if you have an NFL team, even. I'd believe it's nobody or the Hawks).

Oh, no doubt the Hawks fans talk to much. Is it not evident from this board?

You're linking of "everyone that complains is a Seahawks fan" is a bit off, though.

Reality is, I'm sure whichever teams loses on Sunday, their fans will be bitching. Always seems to happen that way in big rivalry games.

Pointing out that it is your go-to line whether someone is or not. You used the same bad joke twice on the same guy.

I can guarantee you that whoever loses is going to blame it on the refs even if they miraculously have nothing to do with it. Nate will blame it on the refs even if the 9ers win. That is just how he rolls I guess.

I looking forward to the game. Best rivalry in all of the NFL right now. I one of the few who actually wants SEA to win a Super Bowl. Just not if they have to go through the 9ers in the playoffs to do it.

I sure am. They tied to give the last game away. Keep trying and someone will accept the gift.

I'm not a gambler, but this is a game I wouldn't gamble on. I think anything can happen with this game.

You have to start to wonder if teams really are figuring out the Seattle offense. Or is Wilson just struggling at the moment. If it's struggles, he'll bounce back from his awful game this past weekend.

Nature of the beast. You lose a close game, and fans wonder about that one call that was missed. Of course, refs could pretty much toss a flag on every play. Like the Niners game yesterday. There were missed calls both ways at various points. As a Panthers fan, you only wonder why you don't get the calls you didn't get.

Ignore the troll. I've noticed that posters generally talking about other posters being worked up are generally worked up themselves. Papa was clearly worked up over something. If disagreeing with his weak posts means I'm in a meltdown, then this board is constantly in meltdown mode. It's clear Papa was speaking from his own experience (i.e drinking and having massive meltdowns). It's cool, Papa. I know you don't understand because you're so passionate in all of your posts, but I really wasn't worked up.

OK there, buddy. Whatever you say.

Perhaps I should point up that you started talking about me first in this thread after I was poking a bit at Harbaugh, but you probably don't remember it. :)

. I usually agree with you on most things, but you're mostly out of touch today. I hope things are okay with you. Sincerely.

Note I still haven't once addressed you or your personal life...

Hilarious is the retardedness of your posts.

And your shit tantrum where you were so clearly wrong you couldn't stand it and left the board for a few weeks.

LOL!

How was the hangover this morning?

Ok there, buddy. Whatever you say. Right back at you.

Like I wouldn't remember? You just it cranky cuz I disagreed with you. You first said Newton was kicked. We weren't even talking rules. We were more talking about what's a kick. And you twisted your point (well, not sure I should call it that since you really didn't have a point - I think you were just trying to bait someone into arguing with you - that's you're typical MO).

Make fun of Harbaugh all you want. I do as well. He is an a-hole. I'm not sure he wouldn't admit it himself.

But yeah, maybe you don't remember the conversation? Not sure what that's about.

LOL!

How was the hangover this morning?

You clearly speak from experience, no?

You really shouldn't talk about things you know nothing about. Your posts talking about me being drunk make you look very silly. I can't drink (though I might dabble in a half-pint) for several weeks after having a pretty serious surgery recently. So yeah, there's that.

On a football note, does anyone (including 49er fans) think that the Hawks' offense is holding a little something back? I'm not saying that they're throwing games (being in FL on BrightHouse Network--which doesn't have Sunday Ticket--I haven't seen their offense other than NO on Monday night), but I didn't see nearly the openness on offense against NO as I did on Monday night a few weeks back. Sure, the elements helped stifle some downfield passing (and probably will again on Sunday), but I find it hard to believe that Bevell has his head as far up his butt as it looked on Saturday. There was almost no read-option from Wilson, or even play-action, which were staples last year. I'm also excited to see what Harvin can bring in the 4 plays before you guys give him a concussion ;) .

Part of NO's game plan looked to be getting Harvin out of the game. It worked, and if he's not available for SF, it will be a long day on offense for the Seahawks.

I've been wondering the same, though, it could be people are figuring out the Hawks' offense some. I've heard a few of the analysts talking about, but I'm not sold on it. I think it's more coasting, not showing your cards, etc.

Of course, Niners fans are trying to figure out the same with our offense. Is Colin struggling, have teams figured them out, or are they holding back?

Of course, there is the fact every team is a quality team now - it's playoff football. So things are tougher and more strategic.

I guess we'll all get our answers this week. Win or lose, this game is great for the NFL, even if it is two Wedt Coast teams. It's going to be a tough battle.

Sounds like Harvin has recovered nicely thus far. Even then, he's only played a game and a half this year? Is that right (I thought I read that yesterday AM)?

Yeah, he played against MIN and had a big catch and a 60-yd or so punt return. But he tweaked his hip a bit again, so they shut him down until the playoffs.

And then you probably saw Saturday---if you want to be generous and say he played a half, I'll buy. ;)

I saw it. And you know what I meant. He was in the first half, then shut it down. I saw the hit early in the game. What happened later? Something about him landing awkward when trying to make a catch?

he passed all the protocols to get back into the game later in the 2nd quarter, but then on the play in the end zone he got his head slammed into the turf again (legally, I'm not complaining) and the docs didn't let him play anymore.

I have a weird feeling that Harvin makes a few great plays next week that have a big impact on the game.

He made a few good plays in just a half last week. After the disappointment of not being able to finish the game, I feel like he's just going to finally explode next week. I just feel it.

A season of frustration will be released.

The Seahawks lack playmakers, outside of Lynch. Their offense was humming early against NO with Harvin in the game. No Harvin, and Seattle will need to win a low-scoring game.

Not trying to be argumentative, but they won by 26 without Harvin. I get that Crabtree being available will make the SF offense better (maybe a TD better, even?) but Seattle's already put up 29 on SF once without Harvin.

That game was close until late it just seemed like every key moment worked in their favor, and kaep was playing like an idiot, he would have 15 yards of scramble room and would throw a shit incompletion instead. He's been improving.

I've watch a few Seattle games and they have been charmed this year. Touched by an angel if you will. Ot wins and what not

Wilson has been pretty shit the last 5 weeks or so, but he's scary to watch play against, kinda like Rodgers, great awareness.

It's not like Seattle put up an offensive clinic in that game. The defense forced turnovers to put the Seahawks in good field position, but overall, it was a pretty bad performance on offense. Wilson went 8/19 passing, and Lynch had 28 carries for 98 yards.

I'd put money on the defense putting the offense in good positions again.

Kaep doesn't like playing in CLink

If Seattle is losing at halftime they'll just up the dosage, snort some huge gaggers of crank
