Colts vs. Raiders 4:05 pm Saturday. Ravens vs. Steelers 4:30 pm Sunday.

I'm posting this early because I have a lot of prep. work tonight and Saturday morning. I want to wish you and your families a Merry Christmas, and please share your Holiday Menu's. I will post mine as soon as I get everything together. :xmastree:

Looks like us Folks in NYC are stuck watching the Jets vs. The Cheaters. What else is new. My Christmas Eve Menu Appetizers: Pigs in a Blanket, assorted hot puff pastry appetizers, Mozzarella Sticks, and Cheese and Crackers. Dinner is Mexican themed because my Fiancee and his Best Friend are both Spanish. Beef Enchilada Casserole (thanks to Tom from last year). Feliz Navidad Tom wherever you are. :bgrin:

Yes, Feliz Navidad. Mexican themed anything works anytime for me; love Tex-Mex, Salsa, Mehican or anything anyone want's to call it.

I'm still in old warped 1977, when I took a long summer vacation to Bisbee, AZ, (last of the old hippy communes, then); 5 miles north of the MX border. I thought my friends were trying to do me in by insisting I try Chimichanga's; which I swore were Mexican Monkey Meat-Burrito's; or something like that, since they could only be found at border-town locations, long prior to creeping north....

Quit the opposite with Noche Buena Beer by Dos Equis, available no longer this far north, barely available in border towns....almost purplish in color....

as for Tote, last I saw him, he was working with ICE, INS; and Homeland Security on acquiring border ("coyote packs" ie, human trafficker's with their clientele), targets for his rockets..... Or- he may of headed to "Black Rock" to enlist fellow Rocketeer's....Donald's Group is outsourcing border security to bat shit crazy rocket nuts, like Tote..... !!! (that's a compliment of course)....

Ok Rob, Thanks for the info. I will put out a "where is Waldo" Thread for Tom and we will see if we can find him. I always loved Mexican Food even before I met my soon to be Ex-Husband....lol. You crazy Canadians always make my day. Cheers to you and your Family, wishing you a Happy Holiday and hoping to talk tomorrow. :breakfast::drinkapint::santa2:

^^^^
hope to talk with ya'll manana, somewhere in b/t making my dough for a couple of Cherry, and Apple Pies, one Mince Meat, and 4 pumpkin. Usually make Sweet Potato-Pecan pie this time of yr, a double decker pie, sweet tater on bottom, pecan pie on top. A Prudhomme recipe of excellence, I first tried from a friends mother, who made the pie insisted I try it, ..... it was out of this world, and I was but 16 yrs young, way back then. Even then, I got his recipe book at the local library and made a copy of it the next weekend, way back then...still make it to this day, doesn't get better imho...

and in b/t the Raider's Game. I hope the Dark Empire is rested, as they've looked tired these last two. Need a 2nd win push, and hope Denver beats KC this weekend.

Derek Carr might of just broke his ankle. That's tragic.

It's broke....never should have been in the game that late given the score.

...totally disagree...a 19 point lead with over 11 minutes to go is by no means insurmountable, the Colts have a pretty damn good offense .

... it's always easy to second guess the coach after the fact, especially when you're not the one making the decision but no way you pull your starting QB with that much time left in such an important game.

^^^^ imo, I bet Del Rio is getting his ass reamed by Davis, and for a good reason. A Playoff caliber team in Oakland, (or was prior to Carr going down); it's been too long.

No one want's to see the Raiders head to Vegas, 'cept maybe Davis. Oakland is the gateway to Valhalla, jest sayin'.......(well the Coliseum anyways, fk the city)....

...no one is blaming Del Rio...nor should they.

Other than a bunch of hyper raider fans calling into the SoCal sports radio station...just echoing local sentiment.

I'm kinda surprised because Del Rio has been fairly conservative, and bubble wrapping QBs this time of year is common. Never liked this myself. But you can imagine after Carr going down we will see more QB kid gloves the rest of this season. We will be hearing more about this in the future.

^^^^ Yep, a lot of pissed off Raider Fans, see this as a blown opportunity in Post Season. However- there is always the Frank Reich factor...! I'd rather see Connor Cook get a shot over McGloin, ie the Dak Prescott over Sanchez/Romo effect...

eg; Bama's undefeated with a true freshman, yet had 2 Senior's & Jr. QB's in the wings prior to the start of Game 1....
not saying NCAA strategy plays well in the NFL, where seasoned Vets are worth having, in lieu of rookies, esp at QB. A rookie QB can be disastrous, but one can't tell that to Matt Ryan, Prescott, Bridgewater, and on, and on....however no one knows what these kids can do, not enough game tape, et al....

then again, as great as Derek Carr was in the NCAA, he too, an elite QB, took and takes time, to read defenses, get the playbook down in their head, audibles, et al....

nonetheless "95.5 FM- The Game" is heard in L.A. on 3 channels, haven't heard a happy Raider's camper yet, or one not blaming Del Rio, hell wtf- personally it's a game, if Jack/Derek could of, and wanted to run up the score, (which imo is far from the case), wtf- let 'em embarrass their opponents, it's almost impossible to know when injury will strike, and conservative an approach, may hinder or help, either way.....

1. ...it's simply more of a case of knee jerk reactions by a small sample of spoiled Raider fans who've witnessed their MVP candidate QB go down with a heartbreaking and season changing injury, and sorry, but they do not dictate in-game strategy and decisions....no one with any real understanding of the game is blaming anyone for Carr's injury.

2. show me a case of "bubble wrapping" QBs in the same situation as yesterday and I will yield...fact is, you won't.

3...and if you've paid as much close attention as I have to De Rio as the Raider coach you'd know he's not "conservative" at all...to the contrary, if anything.

Sorry can't root for them this week, they are playing my Steelers. :bgrin:
As usual, a classic. I have seen so many games between these two that I am not distressed with a loss. Rather, I hope The Steelers take it to the Patriots.

...let this sink in for a moment, in the history of the NFL "no QB with 12+ regular-season W's has failed to start postseason game."
