Enjoy guys..... I'm hitting the beach in the a.m.

I thought you were a NY girl. Enjoy the beach.

GO GIANTS!

Stuck with Raiders v Chargers here in the afternoon. Saints v Colts in the morning....sucky day for football.

I've got the Jets & Patroits now (Jets up 10-3 early in the 2nd). And the Giants & Cowboys around 4:30 so for me its a good day of football.

LSU and BAMA re-runs..........

two-words:
1-Amari
2-Cooper.......

watch and learn......

Yes you do sir, enjoy! Me I'm just surfing Google maps planning on sights to see in London. Looks like we're staying about 1.5 miles from Abbey Road....might grab a pic crossing the road for Ron and Rob, lol!

Ron & Rob, what am I wood? I'd like to see that shot also. Maybe you can get 3 other guys to reenact that walk across the street the Beatles made. Just remember the one being Paul has to be barefoot & out of step. Also if you can get up there, take a shot of the root top where they put on there last live show.

Damn Jets, I really thought they had that one. Oh well, on to the Giants now.

...Tote, I'd really appreciate that, seriously.

...little bit of trivia, the guy who engineered the album Abbey Road also engineered Dark Side Of The Moon...Alan Parsons.

...and oh, btw, the Raiders are kicking the shit out of the Chargers in San Diego...37-6. :blazerwookie: WOO HOO !!!

More trivia, that album cover also had 4 additional clues to the rumor related to the DEATH of Paul........

#1 Crossing the street Paul is the only one out of step.
#2 Paul is the only one that is barefoot.

I forget what I heard about the meaning of those 2 things.

#3 On the left hand side of the street there's a white Volkswagon with the licence showing 28IF. When the album was released in October of 1969 McCartney was 27 years old (28IF)
#4 On the back of the album (top left) there are dots on the wall, connecting the dots it made a 3 as in 3 Beatles.

I am and will always be a New Yorker, just needed a warmer climate. So your Jets got beat by the Cheaters. At least the Giants won but their defense is horrific. Thank God for the special teams or they probably would of lost.

I only watch the Jets when the Giants aren't on. Giants always come first. And yeah I'm glad they got lucky & pulled this one out.

I know that silly. I have a very good memory. Eagles need to lose tonight. :smiley-woohoo:

Congrats to the Raiders! And Ron, no problem....looks to be a 20 minute stroll from where we'll be staying.

Yep, I remember those short lived rumors. from what I can recall, that I once read in a "PoP" magazine, and other sources, the "No Shoes" was supposed to represent "dead men usually do not wear shoes in their coffins", the out of step, was to signify, Paul was just that, no longer a Beatle, IF alive. The last 2, I had never heard of, quit interesting, however-

not to mention the reverse playing of Revolution #9, which clearly said "turn me on dead man." Here's the link to this conspiracy theory, which was cut short by a live interview, noted in the URL below:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_is_dead

"Paul is dead" is an urban legend and conspiracy theory suggesting that Paul McCartney of the English rock band the Beatles died in 1966 and was secretly replaced by a look-alike.

In September 1969, American college students published articles claiming that clues to McCartney's supposed death could be found among the lyrics and artwork of the Beatles' recordings. Clue-hunting proved infectious and within a few weeks had become an international phenomenon. Rumours declined after a contemporary interview with McCartney was published in Life magazine in November 1969.

Tote, so no homage to John's home or Liverpool in general? I imagine a run down high unemployment sea port and grungy Closed Factories, abound. Now the bowels of London's bowels and burbs.

Where have you set your Dinner Reservations at/too??? I'd want to eat my way thru London, Fish and Chips, Crabcakes, with Newcastle to wash it down. Plenty of Bistro's, Gastro Pubs, with a pursuit of- (a real old era Guiness Pub with Irish Overtones), ....the list of fine eating establishments is endless. Tho' IMO, the Brits favor alot of Sushi, and art deco Chinese restaurants, where you get a morsel, dressed on the plate like a freaking painting, for a 42 pounds appetizer, a 150 pound dinner for two, entrees only, and desert, stick with Toblerone's......

Give me a Pot of Pie: at the 3:00 mark-

Primary focus is obtaining a properly poured pint....everything else is gravy.

literally gravy.......

You don't get your Gravy, Pudding either, if you don't eat your meat....

I honestly do NOT think I could take a trip to London, without looking up Gilmour's Astoria Floating Studio......ah dream on, (note to self)-

PS: this is NOT Astoria........

but this IS: Astoria_(Péniche).jpg
