From the whale to the blond (e?) bombshell, from the fry cook spitting on the porterhouse to parallels b/w Don Draper and Jose Offerman, there's a lot effort spent spicing it up. But it made for a fun read. I'd like to see what he does with more access and less analysis.

I was thinking the same thing. It is more of an opinion piece than something you see from a "beat writer".
