Nice little LMA video/interview from NBATV

Nice. Aldridge seems like a class act. It's great to have him and Roy in Blazer uniforms.

I like what he said about his own chances for making the ASG. I like a player who is self-aware enough to make a realistic self-assessment. I also like what he said about GO. Actually the look on his face while the question was being asked said more than his answer.

LMA! LMA! LMA! LMA!

Next year man. Can't wait to see you in the ASG!

Yup. I think he's going to get there and in another two years we might be having serious discussions about him being the best player on this team -- at least as far as being a complete player goes.

Oden is the most freakish player in terms of his athleticism, Roy is the most steady, but LMA has the highest upside. If he improved his rebounding, he could be at the level of a Kevin Garnett.

Hmmmm. I'd have to say that Oden has the highest upside of the three. He's barely scratched the surface of his potential, whereas we already have a pretty good idea of the kind of players Aldridge and Roy are. When Oden is fully healthy and comfortable in this league (I give him another year or two to reach that level), he can potentially be one of the best big men ever.

I liked the part where they Eric Snow brought up Michigan and Texas. That cracked me up. "What does this have to do with what we're talking about?" :biglaugh:

I thought it was a really nice "human" moment that showed an interesting side of LaMarcus' personality.

Yeah, and we all know how much LMA loves the Longhorns. He wanted Durant (at first), and he wanted Augistin. He's still a huge Texas fan.

I actually got into the Vitamin Water draft party (ostensibly hosted by LMA) last summer at Grand Central bowl, and you could see his face drop a little bit when Charlotte took his boy at number nine. His reaction to the Bayless trade was also pretty funny too, he got one of those wide-eyed "whoa, really?" kinds of looks.

I wonder how well Augistin would do on this team.

I was pretty sold on Westbrook if we could have gotten him, I liked Augustin, but worried about him a little because of his short stature, and Jerryd I never thought about since I figured there was no way he'd drop below 5.

Now that we have Rex, I have a feeling he's going to be something.

I really like Jerryd's game... but I think Westbrook is going to be really good as well. This draft class is going to be a good I think.
