As much as I hate to say it, I could live with Pence instead of Trump...but yeah, Pence seems like a hand puppet with Trump's hand up Pence's ass.

Pence is very very anti gay and very much in favor of churches that he favors having a bigger role in all our lives. This worries me because I belong to a mainstream Christian church that he disfavors because of our views on loving others and welcoming homosexuals not only into our church but into our priesthood. Our parish has two women priests. It is also taught that the environment is because of God and we should take care of it.
This in Matthew 25:35-40 Jesus speaking:
"Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

My second cousin, more like an aunt, was Bishop Dagwell's secretary and the Bishop has been to our house to eat dineer at least twice.
Oregon Episcopal School's chapel was a family church in the 50s. I also attended Trinity parish in NW Portland just prior to high school. That's when I stopped going to church until I had an aha moment about five years ago and returned to attendance about two or three years ago. Now I'm back at Christ church in Lake Oswego.

Haley would make an adequate President, not a great one but adequate.
