Ok so helps me please. im 18 years old and my permit expired in december. I never went for the license test and i believe in order to get my license i need my permit back and pass the license test. My question(s) is this: Do I really need my permit in order to qualify? If so, do I need to take a written exam/multiple choice test to obtain my permit once again? And before my permit expired i believe needed to wait 6 months before I could go for my license test, and during that time period I had to practice driving. Do I need to go through that whole six month process again? X(
Google is too vague.

I would call up the DMV, if that information isn't on their website.

I dont even know how to navigate through the NJ DMV website. Such a pain.
I'll call them up. It would be shitty if I had to wait another 6 months and take the multiple choice test for my permit AGAIN.

I already have my G2. Which means I can drive on my own. So, like in Toronto, it's way different then NJ.

I just need to reschedule my appointment lol. They best not be lying to me or I'll be a sad panda.

Man, I hate the DMV.

The line is ridiculous and I have to wait all over again for a couple of hours in that cluster **** line if I move before 2014.
