If Brewers want to beat the Bums at Dodger Stadium, they need to compile
more than one hit....Buehler has given up only one hit through his 3 innings.

Dodgers lineup-

Brouhaha Brew crew Harvey Wallbangers II- lineup

Interesting Stat-

Bums Win Pvtg%
Home .549
Away. .580

Brewers
Home. .630
Away. .549

In other words the Brewers are as good on the road as the Bums are at home.
That being said the Dodgers have met their match, and if they lose this game which I will not be surprised if I do, didn't stick a fork in them. Hell let's just stick a fork in them anyway just for shits and grins....

Christian Yelich is more fired up and more thrilled to be playing in Dodger Stadium than the Bums are themselves...

Go Brewers....

Chacin is pitching pitch for pitch with Buehler. Sparkling defense helps
the cause. Both hurlers have given up two hits apiece.

Travis Shaw tripled and scored on a Buehler wild pitch for a 2-0 bottom 6.

Dodger 6th Turner reaches 2B on a Moustakas throwing error & one out.
Chacin who pitched very well, gave up 3 hits & 0 runs, is being taken out for Knebel.

Moustakas made gem for second out. Dodgers do not score. After 6 it’s 2-0 Brewers.

Kratz, Milwaukee catcher, doubled down left field line with one out.
Arcia doubles Brewers’ lead with opposite field HR. 4-0 Brewers.

Good to see Kratz having his moments in playoffs. 38 years old and having a ball.

It's impossible to get behind any Dave Roberts led team, impossible...
any member of the 004 Red-sux isn't a friend of mine. Screw Millaaar 2.

Bellinger is not and has never been a natural OF'r.
Pederson would of made the catch that Bellinger looked lost trying to make. A wonder Bellinger didn't imbed himself.

BTW- the wind never blows in Chavez Ravine, not like Smoltz would like one to think. In old Candlestick, Yeah the ball blew in circles, or a deep deep fly ball boomeranged back to the INF. A 400 ft putout to the Infield.

He's a shitty 1st Baseman at best. A big mistake putting an clumsy ape where he has no business being. He'd be better off in the AL imo.

Joc Pederson is a helluva defensive gazelle CF glove. He came on the scene with a flash glove, made a highlight film of catches; and swung for the fences.
The Bums tolerated his high K, swing for the fences Offense for his stellar CF'r defense.

Dodgers 0 for 7 with RISP. Remind you of the team in the Bronx?

Knebel strikes out the side in the Dodger 7th.

And that’s why I love this guy Yelich! He bunts down 3B line.....one of the little things that is key.

Braun shut the f*** up...when he saw Yelich was going to be thrown out at 2B on his
would-be single turned into a fielders choice Like Braun never makes mistakes!

Jeffress pitches the 9th inning......much like Betances on Yankees goes 3 & 2 on most batters.

Dodgers tattooing Jeffress’ pitches. Second & third no one out. Big first out on pop up to
SS. Puig motioning to Jeffress to throw it over the plate. Really upsetting Jeffress.

Bases loaded Grandal up. Strikes out. 2 outs.
Brian Dozier up. Two strikes. Game over. Strike 3 called.

Final: Milwaukee 4 Dodgers 0
Brewers takea 2 games to one lead in this series.

Jeffress made it exciting.

Machado has been lethal at the plate in this series. Where will he wind up next year?

A-Rod drives me nuts preaching about how to hit. A-Raud was a sucker for the outside low breaking ball, especially in postseason.

Braun gave one of the more articulate post-game interviews, until Shrek had to open his pie hole and ask where the party was, what an idiot.

I have never understood why Vin Scully called the 1988 season improbable throughout the season and through the World Series.

The 1988 Dodgers season was more The Impossible.
-Orel Hershiser broke Don drysdale's scoreless inning streak Out Of Reach.

-The Dodgers lost 10 games out of 11 to the Mets during the season. The Dodgers defied heavy odds and beat the Mets in the NLCS. No one saw that coming.

-The Bums broke Vegas with heavy odds versus the bash Brothers and two of the Dodgers Ex-Marquee Starting Pitchers that is, Bob Welch and Dave the cross-dressing Stewart...

Maybe it was the improbable, but it definitely was The Impossible...

No one put money down on the Dodgers of 88, which means most put money down for them to lose their asses, by accomplishing The Impossible, not just improbable, The Impossible...
What team is going to Win the best of 7, after losing 10 out of 11 throughout the season.???

Had One put money down it would have been against the Bums, and I would have lost my shirt my house and my ass too...

If I were a betting man I would say this is not the year, CK is not Koufax. Dave Roberts is not Walt Alston, anddddd orTommy Effing Lasorda. Had Robert so played for Lasorda, he would have been a bench player carrying Tommy's piss Bucket from The Dugout to the toilet.

But don't take the odds from me, I would have bet against the 88 Bums; but these are not the 88 bums. Just like all the Illusions we've heard about the 2018 Yankees being comprable to the 98, & the 78 Yankees and other great Yankee dynasties...

Btw- A-Fraud thinks he is as great as Tony Gwynn, Rod Carew and even Ted Williams when it comes to the art of hitting

The one thing that I remembered most about the '88 NLCS was in game 4. Davey Johnson sent Gooden back out and my thought was you don't want to do this. Soscia (SP) hit a homerun to start a Dodger comeback. On paper the A's should have won that World Series, they had a better team but slacked on game day. The Dodgers made it a shorter series by hitting LA over the head with a sock full of shit and early success. The Reds did the same thing to Oakland in '90.

Speaking of the Reds, the Dodgers appeared sunk with no hope of postseason, after their six consecutive loss to the low lowly Reds this year. When they beat the Reds on the 7th attempt there year seemed to turn around. Well the D-backs lost 3/4 of their games in September.

This year's Dodgers were as much Pretenders as our Yankees were for a World Series run, or a LCS...

Long way to go but I would love to see the Brewers win it all.
