Is he hurt or just being held out (i.e., part of a deal?)

Gramps...

Officially, the PG rotation is back to normal, ie Blake starting, Sergio backup, Bayless glaring at everything from the bench.

I noticed this too. It has me wondering what is going on. If I remember correctly though didn't Bayless get 2nd half minutes before Blake went down with his shoulder injury? If Bayless doesn't get 2nd half minutes over Sergio then you could assume he is being discussed in a deal.

Interesting speculation.

I had assumed it was because Blake is back and Sergio is ahead of Bayless in the rotation at the PG spot.

We'll see if JB gets in in the second half...

Well, NO will need a PG to replace Paul.

I sure hope we trade Sergio tomorrow just so Bayless can get some PT.

I think you can assume that Sergio and Outlaw are both being discussed in a deal(s), but they're both playing. My guess is, Nate still isn't sure who he'll have after the deadline so he took the easy choice regarding the PG rotation; back to how it was before Blake's injury. In the likely event that there's a trade that clears up the logjam, problem solved.

Nate said that the PG rotation would go back to normal.

Bayless has become Playless once again. It's a Nate thing, not a trade thing

I dont like this. Bayless should be in front of Sergio in the rotation.

He did have good numbers but the 2nd unit played terrible and it wasn't all his fault but he didn't help. I guess he played ok but I wouldn't say good.

Disagree. They played bad the first few minutes. (Wasn't his fault) Then they extended the lead to 10. He wasn't awesome, but he played well.

As far as Sergio's typical level of play is concerned I would say he played well.

I'm wondering why Travis has only 4 minutes. That's more surprising to me.

I think the boxscore is messed up. He played a normal amount of minutes tonight, I think.

funny - I just phoned my Dad down in Portland (I'm now living in Vancouver, BC Canada and resort to internet feeds, etc.) to ask if he's seen Bayless off the bench?

Then I told him: CP3 baby!

Got me wondering if we don't now trade for Chandler AND CP3 while we're at it! LOL

wow....ESCAPE.

for anyone who doesnt think we need a trade badly..... watch this game a few times

Naw, that's too logical.

There must be some dark conspiracy behind it all. :ohno:

I would be very upset if we traded Bayless and keep Sergio unless we got a real good PG back in trade.

Won't happen. They will never get rid of Bayless unless a real good ones comes back. I have no problem with Sergio getting minutes now, because Bayless is still developing, but Bayless is the future. Although you Connely bashers ate some crow tonight. Steady hand is MC and not a fucking babysitter for greg like so many morons suggested earlier.

Actually, it's a Bayless thing.

He has to earn it, and he hasn't come close to doing that.

Nate said he is particularly lost in the team's defensive schemes, and hasn't been able to grasp their basic plays yet, where he should be on the court...

It's silly to have expected otherwise from a rookie with 1 year in college.
