I went to the NBA All Star Jam today. They had a grand entrance where volunteers would greet you with those blow up clappers. Anyway I decided to film it. About halfway through one of the volunteer yells "No Blazer Fans".

It wasn't the only time it happened either. Happened two other times in different areas, just because I was wearing a Blazers shirt at a "NBA FAN FEST". Disgusting. This is why I stopped going to Laker games, the shit talking is just too much, unprovoked.

Pay it forward on Wednesday, yo!

Meh, just a little good natured shit talking. I've said the same thing to Lakers fans or Cowboys fans etc.

yeah, not if you're representing the NBA at a fan-oriented festival.

Sounds like they're trying to have some fun with you is all. I would tell you to lighten up, but living in LA I'd imagine you're pretty sick of it by now.

It kind of made me hate the event to be honest. This is why I can't even go to Lakers-Blazers games here anymore. Pisses me off. Unprovoked shit talking.

WHO CARES! Our season is over...... so who cares!

That was nothing. Try wearing Cardinal gear to Wrigley.

I'm surprised they still care about us. Actually, it's kind of good to hear.

I think it's a good thinkg that they don't like us - wouldn't have it any other way.

Try going to soldier field wearing Packers gear. If you're lucky all you'll get is some insults thrown your way, less lucky and they throw beer and punches.

Nut up.

Exactly. The day L*ker fans don't treat us like shit is the day they don't think we're a threat.

The only two times I truly felt meanaced at a game was when I went to see the Redskins--alone--play the Iggles at the old Vet. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

But that pales to the time I cheered for Real Madrid at Camp Nou. I was probably in more physical danger there, but I was surrounded by more Real supporters.

Try wearing Charlotte Bobcats gear to an LA Clippers game. Frightening.

I once wore Mt. Hood C.C. gear to a U of P game.......... that was obviously back in my crazy days!

It wasn't menacing so much it was low class by those working the event. It made out less enjoyable for me.

Actually did that once - ended up not being a big deal because my section was dominated by St Louis fans. McGuire went yard twice, Sosa only once, Cards won.

It was not a lakers event. and they were not "fans". They were likely Laker fans, but in their official capacity they were representing the NBA in an official capacity. Its like having the cashier at mcdonalds call you a fatass for ordering an extra value meal.

I was at Busch the year the chase for the home run crown was going on. Cubs were in town and it was close to 100 degrees and damn near 100% humidity. I think Sosa went yard a couple times. Can't remember I was young, but remember going to several games that year.

Well, they're losers working at McDonald's, so what they call me is irrelevant.

Still, I understand why you're a bit miffed.

Its still extremely unprofessional. People like that should not be there.
