Nurk has actual basketball skills, a feel for the game and works hard. Whiteside is just a big body with precious little of those other attributes.

He’s really effective rebounder and shot blocker, he also plays well above the rim offensively.

This is a tough one? The contracts don't really line up for the hate? If Whiteside is a bust he is expiring. I doubt Bazemore can turn the ball over and miss as many shots as the guy he replaced for the money? Lets hope i'm wrong on this. The biggest knock on Turner was that albatross contract as was the same with Meyers. I don't think Mario gets the same hate again because of contract.
Just don't see the same "Hate to Contract" ratio in many of these players. Now if you want to go "Hate to Hype" you might end up with Whiteside or Simons? But "Hype" is a more personal issue.
Then there is Trent Jr.
