Anyone know why today is the only day (outside of the All-Star break) where you can not find a single NBA game being played?

Ahh...because they will be watching the NCAA championship game?
Were there games on Super Bowl Sunday?
There are never any games on NCAA Championship Monday.
Good enough reason I suppose. I don't recall this happening in the past though (not saying it didn't, I just wasn't paying attention if it did).
It is how it has always been.
Yes sure, we have been over this. Always. Except for last year of course.

Because of shortened season
My feeble, vague, befuddled memory is whispering that long ago in the mists of time, there were NBA games the same night as the NCAA championship. I don't know when the world changed. The NIT championship used to be on national TV too, and I found it interesting, but the pundits kept ridiculing it till the networks gave in and dropped it.
Can anyone make me a drink?

Yes. I've been working on a new cocktail called the 'LeMarcus':
It's Texas tequila with a dash of Sloe gin, and an olive, not dunked but laid gently into the glass. When I pass it over the bar you drop it.
So there WASN'T games last year on this night? I'm confused.
