Unfortunately crimes against animals aren't as severe as they should be.

Not that I have the police visiting my house on a daily biases, but if it ever were to happen.
This is one of the reasons why I'm thankful I have a career which allows me to take my dogs with me everywhere I go.

This is not the first case like this I've seen. In one case, the officer shot this little yippie dog. The dogs were not even "charging" him but were approaching. What else is a dog going to do when a stranger comes in? Why didn't he continue to back up?

I'm against animal abuse and cruelty....I'm a bit off on the topic as just last night at work a friendly pit bull who lives at the house I work at and is so loved by his owner wagged his tail and bit a 9 year old boy.....2nd incident with different dogs at the same house at work. I now have to sub shifts for the people who quit in fear of the dog. I don't know what it has to do with the dog market though...the joke was intended to show you having a job as a competitive hog dog eater....sorry if it seemed inappropriate to you...I suck at jokes

I knew exactly what you meant by your joke.
It's why I apologized for not finding it funny. You didn't mean to be rude, or negative at all.
You also don't suck at jokes. I bet if the person wasn't ME. They would have found your joke funny.
I can say this because I've laughed at your jokes before, just not that one.
Please do continue to make your jokes.

Unfortunate, many people take a dog wagging it's tail as a sign it's being friendly/happy. But I can speak from experience a dog wagging it's tale, bully breed or not. Doesn't mean it's being friendly/happy.
I don't know the situation at your work in the least bit, I can only speak from experience. 90% of my clientele don't know how to read their own dogs body language. It might sound silly, but I'd put money on that dog reacting out of fear towards the 9 year old.
I however wasn't there, nor have I ever met the dog. So I can't say for sure. I'd just say there is a high probability the dog who bit the child reacted out of fear.
