Everybody's winning.

Crap, crap, crap.

yep its a tight race within the next week or so as every win counts for the blazers.

Crap, now the Blazers actually have to win to make the playoffs.

THE LEAGUE IS FIXED AND HATES PORTLAND. We will probably just squeeze into the 8th seed and Nazi Stern will make us play LA or some crap like that.

you mean the grizz have a shot? their schedule is easy too. they get knicks friday.

True dat.

Actually, the Blazers have won 6 of 8 so that's at least hanging in there...............

Yes, they have a shot. After winning at Boston, Hollinger's playoffs odds have them going up from 2.4% of making the playoffs to 3.9%

Portland's win against the Kings had them going up from 91.4% of getting in to 92%

Houston went up from 8.7% to 9.3, NOH went down from 2.3% to 0.7%

In the immortal words of Jim Carrey in "Dumb and Dumber"

Lloyd: What do you think the chances are of a guy like you and a girl like me... ending up together?
Mary: Well, Lloyd, that's difficult to say. I mean, we don't really...
Lloyd: Hit me with it! Just give it to me straight! I came a long way just to see you, Mary. The least you can do is level with me. What are my chances?
Mary: Not good.
Lloyd: You mean, not good like one out of a hundred?
Mary: I'd say more like one out of a million.
[pause]
Lloyd: So you're telling me there's a chance... *YEAH!*

Thus far, more of the same, tonight.

Phoenix lost. Two games back in the loss column from them now.

Awesome. Don't want other teams to roll over. But we're up 4, starting to play well. Some of the teams in front of us are dropping. It'll be interesting but we're in a good spot.

I think we ultimately jump San Antonio and Phoenix. I had thought Oklahoma City, but they just keep playing well.

Milwaukee's on fire. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the Finals.

I don't think so. The Bucks will be suffering from the Yi curse for decades. They never should have traded such a dominant player.

We have 3 more losses than the Spurs so I think it'll be tough catching them. I know we have the tie breaker and they have a tough schedule, but I think it'll be hard to catch them.

Maybe, but without Tony Parker, that tough schedule could catch up to the Spurs. Plus, they play a lot of games on the road for the rest of the season. 11 on the road, 8 at home.

Nobody's losing, dangit!!!

this is becoming a common theme... nobody helping us and we just lost penn. what a great night.

Thats the last straw. We lost Penn, were done. Blow up the team and lets rebuild.

There will be very little change in the standings from here on out. We have to make hay when we're playing other playoff teams. The teams not in the race have given up by now and are just walkovers for playoff teams.

No use in frettin over what other teams have done. It's all about what the Blazers do, not what they do.

Tonight . . . the Blazers got help as SA and OKC go down.

Not quite as fun closing the gap this way, but during this extended time between games, I'll take it.

New Orleans lost, too. Houston beat Memphis, thats kind of a wash.

Every team in the Western Conference holding onto playoff position has won at least 7 of their last 10 games. Nobody's relenting.
