More. (Is he technically allowed to wear Blazers gear now?)

4 men and 4 women. We have tavern teams like this where I live. You drink while you play some sport against another tavern.

Both of our draft picks have narrow mouths.

KD played at a Pro-Am league last week.

I just noticed--As high school seniors, Nolan Smith was rated above Blake Griffin, Beasley, Cole Aldrich, DeJuan Blair, and Bayless. Diebler was better than Evan Turner and Markieff Morris.

Even better: Kyle Singler was better than Derrick Rose!

I'm glad he is doing something basketball related considering they are locked out. some players love basketball and always find a way to play, while others never touch a basketball without a big check heading their way.

Others are Greg Oden, who wants to be a dentist

On boards such as ESPN, the word retarded is censored, so everyone spells it retarted.

lol, Sheed was playing too!

Nolan -- #7 in white.

Nolan Smith is the least energetic player on either team, on that tape. He leaves himself out of the play every time. Whether on offense or defense, on fast breaks he always trails the pack or veers off to the side. The few times he goes inside to play defense, he goes in alright...and stays a feet from the action.

Anyone know who #4 in Black is? I think it is Marshall (UNC's current PG); but I am not sure. This spring I saw him a time or two and thought he had a good chance to be a very good NBA PG. Hopefully Portland's PGotF.

Sheed and Nolan might know each other from Sheed's time with the Bullets. (Nolan knows Juwan Howard from back then.)

I take it this video was made by a UNC fan?

"Blue Devils Shine at Greater N.C. Pro-Am":

Smith, a 2011 first round NBA Draft Pick by the Portland Trail Blazers, pouring in 15 first half points to counter Sheraton's solid team play. The 2011 ACC Player of the Year and ACC Tournament MVP looked to be on a whole different level, slicing his way to the rim with ease throughout the half. Rivers' versatile offensive game (13 first half points) paired with Smith's play led to Team Hendrick taking a 40-39 lead into the half.

The intensity from the first half carried through halftime as a duo of Duke guards kicked things off with the first four baskets after intermission. Dawkins and Curry each hit a pair of treys in a back and forth battle to get the second half started. Dawkins followed up a quiet first half with impressive offensive showing in the second, finishing with 16 points on the night. Dawkins' play early in the second half helped give Sheraton Imperial a narrow lead.

Duke was also represented in the closely contested contest by a pair of big men, Kelly and Hairston. Kelly showed his advanced offensive skill set and footwork with a pair of buckets in the lane during Team Hendrick's comeback efforts.

With Sheraton possessing a six-point lead entering the final four minutes of play, Hairston showed strength inside; finishing strong on back-to-back possessions. Dawkins followed with a dunk to give Sheraton a 10-point lead with 1:30 remaining.

With the game's outcome decided, players put on a show for the thousands in attendance. Smith and Rivers both ended the game with highlight-reel dunks in the open court. Sheraton secured a 93-83 victory as the final buzzer sounded.

On a night when many showed up to get their first glimpse of Duke's newcomers, it was Smith who led all scorers with 33 on a memorable night in Durham.

Raymond Felton was one of the stars last year::

In a game full of stars on the professional and college levels, the Greater NC Pro-Am Tournament Championship offered one of the most competitive showdowns in all of summer league basketball. The stakes were high as New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton and D1 Sports had championship hopes on their minds in their contest against Cleveland Cavalier Jawad Williams and Hendrick of Durham.
....
It appeared that Hendrick of Durham had ended the first quarter on a good note after former ECU standout Derrick Wiley nailed two free throws with just 2.9 seconds left on the clock, but Atlanta Hawk center Josh Powell hit a deep fade-away attempt at the buzzer to boost his team to a nine point lead.
The success continued for D1 Sports in the second quarter with Felton and Powell hooking up on several occasions. Their team led by as much as 15 in the second quarter, in large part because of Felton's offense. After Felton's trey ball to end the period, D1 Sports held a 68-57 lead at the half.
"He just took over the game," Williams said of Felton. "Whoever has to guard him, he's getting them ready for the next level."
...
Despite Hendrick of Durham's 9-0 run, Felton would not let the game get away. He fearlessly burst into the lane, getting to the rack and drawing fouls. Within seconds, D1 Sports' lead was stretched back to nine.
Williams and Wiley combined for 11 fourth quarter points, but fell short of sparking a run to get Hendrick of Durham back in the game. Felton and Fisher's backcourt dominance proved to be the difference, as D1 Sports won the third annual Greater NC Pro-Am Tournament Championship by a score of 135-124.
After leading a team to the summer league's championship for the second year in a row, Felton discussed the benefits from playing against such a high level of talent.
"It's a good thing to come out here and get a run," Felton said. "This is pretty much one of the best [summer leagues]."
While Felton and Powell both played significant roles in winning the championship, Fisher came away with honors for Most Valuable Player after his exceptional play throughout the tournament. Through three tournament games, Fisher averaged 16.7 points per game, but the championship contest was by far his most impressive outing.

Some homemade footage - Nolan is #7 in white:

Looks like BRoy.

A little bit. Neither is really a PG. Something that bugs me, though: I keep seeing him listed as 6'4". He's not even 6'2". (Yeah, yeah - that's barefoot and "nobody plays basketball barefoot". But your height is YOUR height, not variable on how stacked your soles are.) By contrast, Roy is over 6'5" barefoot.

Only basketball does that...most sports have cleated shoes...I'd be a 5 foot 8 hockey player...if you include the 6-inch blades and 3-inch helmet clearance...
