Nolan Smith playing in Pro-Am league

Rashard McCants and Joseph Forte also lit up the ACC.

McCants was always limited as a player, even in college, and Forte was an undersized SG with no handles who had the entire UNC offense built around him.

I don't think Smith is going to be an All-Star by any means, but I think he'll be a better pro than Forte and McCants. Or, maybe he won't be.

I would take Rashard McCants in 2 seconds. I'd pick him up from the airport. Dude can play some ball, and he's a great shooter.

McCants doesn't have SG size, and plays more like a SF offensively.

Off the bench in the right role, he can be an asset in the NBA. He got picked 14th because the other great players he played with at UNC made him look better than he really was. Realistically, he should have been picked later in the first round as well, because he could have helped a team that was competitive.
