No. I use myself as an example because I am also new. I don't care. I did at very first many moons ago, but I don't care. What I care about is growing the Blazers fandom and its obvious the team does too with all the media personal changes to try to provide a more national vibe to be more attractive across the nation.
So how do we help that cause when we are actively giving new members crap and making it sound like they shouldn't be posting or making threads etc?

You have kinda had me wrong the whole time. I have very thick skin, but love to stick up for those who don't.
At any rate. Running off new members, whether intentional or not, is not a good thing. IMO.
Can we move on now, or is there more to discuss on this matter?

I suppose it's all a matter of expectations. If you figured CJ, AC, and even ET would transform themselves into superstars because of their new salaries, you'll be unhappy. But with incremental small improvements, and some more cohesion, this team looks crazy deep. Give it time.

I was one of the few who was in favor (or at least, not melting down over) the Evan Turner signing. I don't need him to become a superstar, but I'd like him to fit in like he did in Boston. Also, Crabbe just isn't getting shots. In one game he played 20 minutes and took about 2 shots. That might not be his fault, but it's bad if it persists: his shot is the reason he was re-signed.

(Being "crazy deep" brings its own problems. It was the undoing of the Rasheed Blazers.)
