But I have a really tough time posting things like "The Blazers" or "Their" regarding the team. I usually post "We need", "We are", "Ours", etc. All claiming I have some sort of ownership to the ball club. So if it offends, sorry I am too emotionally attached to the team to post any other way. :dunno:

I am Paul Allen, and I OWN the team goddammit and the fans are nothing more then impartial spectators, that better keep their mouths shut when it comes to the question of ownership.

Thank you for your understanding, and now feed my product the money that it rightfully deserves.

Sincerely, Paul Allen

Dude, it's "our" team. At the start of home games, we are introduced to "YOUR" Portland Trail Blazers. Sports fans are always the "6th Man." If we didn't feel some sort of personal ownership and alliance, why would we care about them? The amount of money some folks pump into the team in tickets, food, drink and merchandise, I think a case could be made for communal ownership rights besides.

I do get tired sometimes of editing my posts to take out the first person references. I think there should just be an informal rule or understanding that it isn't necessary to do so.

Why are you apologizing? Were you accused of offending anyone? I don't get this thread.

Cool! Yeah I feel the same way. I go to each Blazer game against the Clippers and Lakers just to watch them live. I live in L.A. unfortunately. Also, 2 seasons ago, I bought a round trip ticket with my son and bought 3 courtside tickets to the Blazers vs. Lakers (bought SlyPokerDog the third ticket). Hell I even had Ronny Turiaff turn around, look me straight in the eye and say "FUCK YOU". I have that Tivo'd and I see the clip of him the second before he said it. You can actually here me heckling Ronnie right before.

I know right? It actually was "HOMER" and very superstitious really. When we started the season off on a bad start, I said "Fuck this I'm not going to post until they start winning again! I can't stand those trolls talking shit about us" So I did and they started winning. Anyways, long story short, I made a deal with myself to not gloat, not talk shit, nor even post in any forums until the season was over.

that is one dedicated ass poster right there fellas. I didnt know that was the story behind it lol. Every once in a while we'd be like "where the hell is mags?" and then forget lol. Anywhoo.. still good to have ya back man! this season should be a fun ride.

No I wasn't accused, but I saw some accusing others. I think it was Mixum, when he said "We" in reference to the Blazers.

That was Wookee in response to Mixum, I believe. And he has done that for years in the O-Live forum. It's his way of calling out a troll, as if to say, Why say We when you don't actually root for the Blazers.

No, I'm pretty sure that was when I started my old superstition of killing a bum before every game. It didn't have fuck-all to do with you posting. That would just be silly.

The only thing you should be apologizing for is starting this lame ass thread!
