Not to be a Negative nancy, but why is everyone assuming the Blazers will win out?

We've seen this team fall flat on it's face many times with Aldridge in the game, and there's only a couple of gimmies on the remaining schedule. Phoenix, Golden State, the Clips will all be hard games that the Blazers could lose.

I think hanging onto the #5 seed is just right for the team, given everything that's gone on, and facing a wounded Rockets team in the first round. HCA or no, they can take that series.

I don't think that too many are thinking that the Blazers will win out or that there aren't dangerous teams left on the schedule. I do think that, given the state of Houston's roster, there's a pretty good chance that the Blazers will pass them in the standings, but it's clearly Houston's to lose.

I don't think that too many are thinking that the Blazers will win out or that there aren't dangerous teams left on the schedule. I do think that, given the state of Houston's roster, there's a pretty good chance that the Blazers will pass them in the standings, but it's clearly Houston's to lose.

Yeah, I don't expect us to win out. But I think we have a good chance of getting 3 less losses than Houston will.

I think we lose a couple more games. It's not a huge deal. But people gotta be realistic... PHX has beat us twice, GS has beat us... if we had been undefeated to all these teams, then okay... but we aren't. Home or away, nothings a given.

I think we lose a couple more games. It's not a huge deal. But people gotta be realistic... PHX has beat us twice, GS has beat us... if we had been undefeated to all these teams, then okay... but we aren't. Home or away, nothings a given.

There are two games they need to focus on. Both LA and Golden State. To me they are statement games and they can't allow those two to come back into the Rose Garden again and beat them in their house. BTW, if they do and they take Portlands best punch in the process. It prob means they are title contenders.

Those are the ones that concern me most. I think every game is winnable and if they stay focused. It's very possible they do.

i think we come out real ready to play against GS....high possibility of the clippers resting their big guns on the last game of the season cause they will most likely have 3rd sealed up.

Phoenix beat us twice - in Phoenix. Golden State has beat us, we've beaten them - but the game's in Portland and we have the better record so its reasonable to expect a win. The Clippers are good, but we're certainly capable of beating them - and again, the game's in Portland.

I'm one of the ones who thinks we'll win out. It's not just because LA is back. The whole team looks like the November team. With 5 of our 6 at home and only 1 game against a team with a better record, it's very possible. Especially when you take note of how we owned Chicago and Memphis.
