Now I know KP is done.

I'm guessing Paul Allen chanting Mar-Cus Cam-By, Mar-Cus Cam-By after the game is an ominous sign that he is pissed off at the decision making of KP.

ALARM OFF!! ALARM OFF!!!

PA has a few seats under the basket. PA, Larry Miller, President, and Bert Kolde, Vulcan were sitting in them.

It's no big deal that KP was seated elsewhere. What, was PA going to sit in 114??

Mountain out of a mole-hill.

I understand this point, as many people in this thread have made it. However, you're missing some other key points:

1) He was sitting by himself, which I've never seen.
2) His body language and facial expressions were not of someone who was enjoying himself. He's two most recent acquisitions were ripping it up yet he looked depressed for the majority of the game.

All I'm saying is that when you look at someone carry themselves the way KP was, you can tell something is wrong.

Yesterday we read the quotes that Roy had a bone bruise in his knee, yet the energy Roy, Nate, and others were projecting hinted that it was something worse. KP was projecting that something wasn't right. I hope I'm wrong, but my eyes are telling me otherwise.

Mountain out of a molehill is exactly right...and I have seen Pritchard sitting next to Allen since this fiasco emerged....

Pritchard hasn't been perfect, but Allen would be stupid to let him go after the Miller, Camby & Howard acquisitions....

When? They just said on the radio yesterday that they haven't been seen together since Penn has been fired.

Are you confident that he's coming back?

It's the biggest game of the season, Pritchard's veteran acquisitions were carrying the team, and he's sitting by himself while Paul Allen and his flunkies are high-fiving each other in the front row.

I don't see any problem with people reading more into this than Pritchard just wanting some privacy. To ignore potential implications, or dismiss it out of hand, seems to be a bit naive.

I haven't, and I've gone to most of the games since Penn was fired, and watched the others on Comcaset.

When did you see them sitting together?

this thread is stupid

This is astonishing to me that people are pretending it's no big deal that Pritchard is not sitting next to Allen anymore.

They used to sit next to each other every single night. Penn was fired, stories started to leak to the papers re: what a "shitty" job Pritchard as done and now they don't sit together.

Yeah, no big deal. Business as usual.

If someone say PA and KP out to dinner together, laughing, I would want to know about it. If someone saw KP sitting alone getting hammered in a bar with a pink slip hanging out of his back pocket, I would want to know about it. What is so wrong with fans coming to a blazers board discussing the likelihood of their GM coming back next year?

Note to people needing reality check: You don't have to like your boss to work for them.

fine make our voices known on wednesday... start a Kevin Pritchard chant!

Before the Tom Penn firing I never really paid attention to where Kevin Pritchard sat. I always just assumed that he sat next to Paul Allen. Since Penn got fired they haven't sat together once. There's obviously something going on and it doesn't appear to be positive.

dude I'm down with this. Anyone else wanna help?

also.. nice job with the correct amount of clapping emoticons

Let's pick a time... after first timeout of 4th quarter?

I'll be in the 300 level, and could try to start the chant.

The fact is, we don't know what is going on behind the scenes. If it was even Kevin Pritchard who brokered the deal to bring Marcus Camby here. We have no idea, other than by his drafts, just how effective he has been in his position. Remember, he has been "neutered".

The last thing I really want to do is to push pressure on a owner to keep a guy that is incompetent at what he does.

You feel free to chant. But I'm not going to.

What if the owner is incompetent, and the GM has saved the owner from his own incompetence?

We don't know that though. None of us do. Again, the last thing I want to do is put pressure on a owner to keep someone that can't do his job to his fullest.

There's some right nutters out today.

The owner somehow managed to lose ownership of the arena that he built, and as one of the richest men in the world, he put it into bankruptcy. Meanwhile, under Pritchard's watch, the team has gone from 21 wins to consecutive 50-win seasons. I'll side with Pritchard over that lovable goofball Allen, who I do like as an owner, if he'd just get out of his own way.

The Accidental Zillionaire...
