Let's have CJ get his PER over 10 and his shooting over 44% (or 36% from 3pt) before we put Roy-level expectations on him. He hasn't even had to be scouted at this point, and he still has trouble at times offensively. I really like his shot and his poise, though. He can be a very, very good bench player.
We've seen enough of CJ to see obvious strengths. What we haven't seen is enough of him to begin dwelling on his weaknesses, which is going to happen at some point, largely by the same people overhyping right now.

But I thought his analysis was well reasoned. He thinks CJ has a more well-rounded game than Lillard, hopes Lillard will add facets to his game to become more well rounded, and thinks Lillard has the greater killer instinct. I agree. As to defense, yeah that's a problem. Although CJ's defense looks to have better potential than I thought, and most of us think Dame can get better too.
