Which makes some sense, given that we are all sports fans here. But it's true of the muggles as well.

Most people who follow politics these days seem more invested in "owning" the other side than in actual policy or who's representing them in their party. And on this issue, I certainly consider Democrats/liberals to be just as culpable as Republicans/conservatives. Referencing the above tweets, to me it's more that Trump supporters don't care what wrong-doing Trump may or may not be involved in so long as he's "owning the libs" in their minds.

The proposal to ship asylum seekers to SF, Chicago, NYC is a perfect example of that. Great trolling, not so great policy.

I think that the “great trolling, not so great policy”, has become fairly common place for both Republicans and Democrats at this point, at least amongst the leadership of the parties.

Bandon is the obvious choice.

I think where they should go depends in part on their skills. Someone who works as a farmhand won't find that work in New York City.

But 'where do you want to put them' is the wrong question to be asking, and shipping them somewhere is treating the symptom not the problem.

Unfortunately Trump is working hard to make the problem worse rather than better.

Oh no. Where to put them is a big problem. Didn't you see that stressed out Mayor of a small town near Tucson? I can't remember the name but his town was only like
a thousand people or so. They have been inundated by migrants released far too often. Maybe a 1000 or so show up in town. and no one has scheduled any outhouses or facilities of any kind. The locals just don't know what to do.. That is damn poor planing, anything would be better.

You mention Bandon, funny thing it is. We have a rather new local hospital here, local tax based non profit. I spent some time with the administrator of this facility just late last year. As you know they and all hospitals are required by law to serve everyone that shows up, regardless of whether they can pay or not.
This hospital is now serving a population that looks like this;

Paying Patients - Either Insurance or out of pocket. - 30%
Medicare/Oregon health plan - 33% These plans do not cover full cost. Payment of cost is at about 67% of treatment cost, - 33% cost shifted.
Non Paying (cost shifts to Paying group) - 37% Mostly Immigrants.

Sanctuary is a disaster. Medicare for all will force the doors to be locked.

Hey, I just remembered, we found out Trump did not Collude about a month ago now! Still the teeth gnashing continues.

What I want to know, is what sort of tale was told to get a fisa warrant to unmask General Flynn. Now that we know, that no American colluded with the Russians, some sort of whopper had to be spun to get that farce done. Then of course the mother fucker that leaked his id to press is yet to be known.

Oh there is much to be known! Some smelly fish to be caught!
 
No collusion, because while Trump tried, he failed at it. If that isn’t the most Trumpy thing I don’t know what is.

You don't recall two years of multi millionaire tv pundits calling Trump a Russian agent?

If Russia or China or Turkey had dirt on Hillary, let's say they had real proof that all of the conspiracy theories about her were true....

I'd take it from any of them just like a reporter would. I don't know why the liberals have been trying to scare us about the Russkies........

This is actually a completely different topic. As it turns out, Mueller did not conduct a counterintelligence investigation, only a criminal investigation. Anything intelligence-related went back to the FBI. As a result, the Mueller report says nothing about whether Trump is or isn't a Russian agent. Although you can argue that his inability to conspire criminally suggests that he didn't then have a direct line to the Kremlin.

I don't know why the liberals have been trying to scare us about the Russkies........

I know quite a few kids in their early 20s. They can't answer basic multiplication questions as fast as you guys can recite the DNC talking points.

Jimmy Dore makes perfect sense when he says these dorky guys are the right type to just take their orders and spread the disinformation without standing up to anyone.

So you have no problem with a president that obstructs justice, witness tampering, calling people derogatory names and personally attacking peers, secret meetings with our adversaries without anyone else knowing what was discussed, cuddling up with dictators while alienating us away from our allies, constantly lies and countless other issues. Yeah, we have one heck of a neat president.
