Now we just need that scoring wing...

I would like to see CJ get minutes at SG. Which leaves "some" back up minutes at SF for Wes. Sure if we can find a really good wing who can attack the basket then trade for him, but if we are talking average players then we would be better off with Wes.

I really think we need to get some burn for Will and CJ because there's a very good chance that Wes will be given some stupid big contract next summer.

Yeah, I'm wondering what Wes could get on the open market this year. Could he push 10 million per year?

I think he could. I haven't looked at who has cap space next summer, but there is significantly less talent in the free agent pool next year.

I think we have a lot of scorers and Will, Dorell, CJ and Victor all need to shoot better this year.

I'm sure he could. Three-and-D guys are enormously valued these days. Parsons' deal is just part of that, and Matthews will get a pretty hefty offer next year.

Will have to check how many teams have cap space next year. I know there was an insane amount of cap space this year. Maybe there won't be as much next year. Hopefully.

Teams more and more seem to be moving towards shorter term and more flexible deals, so it's likely that every off-season will feature a number of teams that either have cap space or could clear cap space if they really want to (because the deals they have on the books aren't albatrosses and can be moved).

Not to mention, there's a dearth of really good twos in the league right now. After Harden, you have Klay Thompson and then who? There are the aging, maybe-breaking-down Kobe and Wade. There really isn't anyone else who belongs clearly ahead of Matthews, IMO.

We just signed two over 30 guys to replace two over 30 guys. We don't need to get rid of young front court bench players. We're now a very tall, deep team. Allan Crabbe, Dorell Wright and Victor Claver could be moved but I really like Claver. He just needs to play. Victor is one of the best bench defenders we have.

Kyle Singler - 10 PPG in 28 MPG.

Cheap and shot 38% from three last year.
