Yes about every nation has one now after what happened in WWII,do you think they should be used?I mean if you have it you're most likely to use them.If we happen to start another World War,I strongly believe the World will face total annihilation.

Yea, I think everyone should get rid of them and NEVER EVER EVER EVEN THINK of using them. just one bomb could start a chain reaction or something between countries and it might cause destruction like weve never seen.

No one's going to use them, we just have them so that no one had to use them or they will have to face the threat of retaliation.

Nuclear bombs are like having to have the cool clothes so kids don't pick on you or beat you up. Nobody is going to use them.

Of course there going to be used,it like having a loaded gun,you are bound to use it eventually.I'm not saying they will use them in our lifetime,but without a doubt they will be used.

A nuclear bomb is much different than a loaded gun....No country will use a nuclear weapon out of the blue.

Yeah no country will hijack planes and run them into the Twin Towers,anything can happen but I don't see any country throwing one out of the blue either.I never mentioned they will use them out of nowhere I just said there bound to be used.

What HeatFans aid is somewhat true. If I asked you in 2001 if you thought there'd ever be a terrorist attack like that, you'd say: No, because it would create so much war and hatred. Well, it happened.While there is evne less a chance of a nuke being used, if not for one decision by JFK during the Cuban Missile Crisis, we could have seen possible nuclear war. There is a chance they'll be used, however slim it is

We nuked Japan a long time ago, the world climate is completey different now. Nations with nukes now have too much at stake to shoot a nuke off, the world now is like a giant community with the U.N. and what not. No country is stupid enough to do it. Their is no situation in the world right now that would deserve a nuclear attack, this isn't 50 years ago, we don't have Germany's or Russia's trying to dominate. Their is no reason for any country to nuke another and I don't see that changing a whole lot. Look over the past 40 or so years, the world has been freakishly stable with little war or serious fighting. Mutually assured destruction is in no countries interest.

Yeah,I'm sure you were taught that at an early age considering this is America.I'm not sure but I believe Mixx is from a foreign country?They don't shove down American history sure as much as they do here.Either way I think it's something anyone should know.I also just realized,in school they usually give you 1 book for American history,and 1 for every other nation in the world which usually contains 5 pages of history.

to get back to the original question, i don't think Nukes should be used, and I don't think Nukes will be used unless some terrorist organisation managed to build a dirty bomb. I don't think Iran would use them if they got them, not even they are that crazy. I wish every country would get abandom their nucular programs, but I'm a realist, so I know that can't happen for several reasons, the main one being that they have already been invented and can't be un-invented, and human nature being the way it is.

Dirty Bombs are the most overrated weapon people mention when talking about terrorism. You have to get a lot of radioactive material together to build one thats effective.

well i can't think of any other nuclear weapon actually being used. The chances of an actual weapon grade nuclear warhead being acquired by terrorists is very slim. And i simply can't see any country using them. They're all well aware that they'd be completely eradicated if they did. The cold war principle still works.
