Wheels sounded like he gave up in the fourth, but made some great calls there at the end when things were going good. It's just such a huge emotional roller coaster listening to him...

He is the voice inside my head during games; hearing him amplifies the experience for me. He sounded ready to cry with 2 minutes to go. EDIT: that must have been the cold rearing its head.

Excellent win! Roy isn't looking to bad. Can't believe we out rebounded Denver without a center.

Sometimes he lets the highs and lows get to him too much. Tonight I think he let the lows get to him a bit, and his calls late in the game weren't his best. they weren't bad, at all mind you. I think he's no different then (some of) us though. It's exhausting sometimes, and even though I suspect that Brian was excited as hell, it might not have been as clear as some of his best work.

He's the best cheerleader at the Rose Garden. Better than the Dancers, better than the Stunt Squad. You have to love a guy who runs on the court and hugs B-Roy.

yep... He has grown on me like Pendergraph last year.

Yep. Kevin Love was an all star.

Love had his 1355345th consecutive double-double tonght, though. Sure, his team lost by 14 at home to the Hornets, and only scored 81 points, but Love is awesome because he's having the best season since Moses Malone!

i wanna congratulate all of you for that game. we as fans deserved something like that (especially roy sending the game into OT with the 3). best i have felt all season, almost speechless.

Nice name.

Roy looked surprisingly good defensively, especially late in the game.

Hopefully his knees allow him to keep this kind of effort up.

They're probably the most watched knees in the league.

Give Aldridge props too. He hit the game winning free throws.

I can't even listen to him sometimes when he gets so down, because it's pretty damn depressing. You'd think we're down 20, when really.. we actually have a chance. However, the calls he makes when things are going good, you really want to jump up and down, and scream and hug the guy.

@pdxtrailblazers: LaMarcus Aldridge @aldridge_12 on Brandon Roy's 3 to send the game to overtime: "That's what he do"

@blazersedge: "Every time I make one it feels like the first time." -- Brandon Roy

Wheels really needs to take a step back and remember that it's just a game. It can't be good for his health to get so down when we lose.

Miller had a great game too. I almost was hoping it'd go into double OT just so he could get his triple double. :)

Just got back from the game. Unbelievable. Just like old times.... although old times didn't have LaMarcus balling his ass off either. When Camby comes back and Roy get's his wind and rhythm.... wow. Look out Western Conference.

Just remember, he may never do that again... DOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

I was watching the national broadcast, but the video that yuyuza posted makes me think that Mike Barrett is trying to be more objective. He quickly said that there was no foul, when while watching the game, I was convinced there was a fould against Roy. Replay showed it was a nice no-call by the ref.

Don't forget about adding Gerald Wallace. :)

I've noticed the same thing. Barrett and Rice have toned down their homer act, even complimenting the efforts of the opposing team occassionally. Perhaps someone from the league or maybe the even within the Blazer organization took them aside and asked them to cool it down a little.

Alright this is some eerie shit right here. I remembered Roy hitting a similar shot against DEN his rookie year, and finally found video of it.

(about 1 min into the vid) Check out the score, and listen to MB's call of the play. All same.

We lost that game in OT, btw.

Holy shit, both to tie the game at 97 too!
