"Told you so" that he came back too soon after injury for the playoffs.

Said great players always want to play, and coaching staff should have held him back.

Barkley blasted the Trailblazers for allowing Roy to play 8 days after surgery last year in the playoffs. He said we weren't going to win anyway, and to risk your franchise player like that was stupid.

Kenny basically agreed with Charles and said any player is going to say they want to play, but the team has to step in and say no. Protect the player from himself. Both cited numerous knee surgeries on Roy as the reason it was stupid....Especially for the Blazers who were hit so hard with them.

This feels like a time where it would be nice if Miller took over a little bit, when he's not posting guys up and getting in the lane, it's jumper, jumper, jumper (from everybody else).

we look stagnent out their and just let Denver not miss a shot. Affalo seems to always light us up, you think we'd have learned to guard him on the three.

Carmello just shoves Mathews and we get the foul..

Excellent fast break. Wow.

Matthews literally came from nowhere. That's hustle.

Good call.

Just you asked for, Nik.

That's what a smart point guard (with skill too) can do for you. Pick up the offense themselves when things go stagnant. For example, If Johnson can get his jumper refined or his scoring more even he could end up pretty good, plus learning more about time, score and situation.

oh - so its miller and nics team? looks pretty good...

Johnson just needs to learn how to play with more control, which I attribute to being a rookie.

Aldridge doing a real good job on the offensive boards.. Camby has taught him well

Starting to sound like Michael Holton there.

I like this lineup. It's smart, it plays hard, and it can push the ball. This is fun basketball.

Maybe it's just me, but Nic looks like he's added some bulk.
