But there's only an hour left on the broadcast. They must hack this, right? I'm recording the ESPN and the Comcast broadcast. Comcast replay comes up in a while. I had to cancel my initial recording, real time, for wife reasons. Haha.

ESPN squeezes their replays into a 2 hour slot!

Thanks mucho. I got on board late in the 3rd quarter so I'll enjoy this. It was also online on ESPN3, which maybe still has the full game available.

While I typed, they went from 18 to 13 seconds left, then another 2 hours of ads.

I watched the Altitude TV (Denver's equivalent of CSNW) rebroadcast so I could bathe myself in the wailing and lamentation of the Thuggets homer announcers. Marlowe and Hastings make Mike & Mike sound like Schonley & Snapper; just over the top homers.

Believe it or not, one of their biggest complaints all night was how we were hammering them with the officials swallowing their whistles. Er...yeah. The best part, however, is when they began prematurely celebrating and talking about what a big win this was with under a minute left. Beautiful.

Make no mistake, this was a BIG loss for Denver. One of those games that result in a hangover of a game or two.

I have kind of figured that their play so far has been "honeymoon" play. Any time players are playing for a new coach they almost always try really hard for the first week or two to really impress them to earn playing time. Then when it shakes out, they return back to earth in the effort department. I guess we will see how it shakes out through the rest of the season.

Granted, Blazer fans do complain about the refs (re: Laker game) but if the refs were swallowing their whistles, I wonder how they'd explain Galinari shooting 17 free throws, only 4 less then Portland as a total.

Hopefully. Portland needs some distance between them and the Nuggets and Jazz (and Hornets too, but I think that's asking a lot), esp with their difficult schedule coming up.
