Nurk is flat out garbage posting up most nights. Turnovers, missed shots, wasted possessions. He just has absolutely no feel for this part of the game. You're 23, Nurk--you've got lots of time to add that tool to your arsenal in the summer. You don't have to be elite at everything all at once.

He's good at defense (saves a lot of points), and he's bad at offense (is not efficient scoring).

No. But I never have a good feeling when he gets the ball in the post. That is saying something, as I love the guy. He honestly just doesn't have the skills yet to get as many touches as he does.

I get the same feeling

I’m fine with him getting the touches though, cause I see it as practice for him. He will go for a move or two, and if the defender doesn’t take it, he will still force a shot. Either he will learn how to shoot over good defense, or he will learn how to draw a foul. But at some point, he needs to start passing out if the defender doesn’t bite on his moves.

He has a great instincts, and good natural footwork. He just needs to work on that more. I see him being his best offensively from like 27-31

Nurkic is younger than Marc gasol was when he came into the league. And Nurkic is better than Marc was at that age. And Nurk is only going to get better and better.

And nurk has pretty much the same stats and advanced stats as Marc Gasol does right now.
