Good thing Obama gave an offshoot of ACORN $832k in May. Looks like money well spent!

The MSM breaks into scheduled programming if Palin farts. Meanwhile, the real news that threatens the democratic process is being reported in some sort of alternate universe.

(CNSNews.com) – The Association for Community Reform Now (ACORN) submitted nearly 90,000 voter registration applications to the registrar’s office in Clark County, Nev., this year, among which were “thousands and thousands and thousands of phony and duplicate applications” that ACORN did not mark as suspicious, Larry Lomax, Clark Country registrar of voters, told CNSNews.com.

Matthew Henderson, ACORN’s regional director for Southwest Nevada, however, said that a few duplicate and falsified forms may have slipped through ACORN’s vetting. But the group turned in between 3,000 and 4,000 tagged registration forms, Henderson said, and there is little evidence to support Lomax’s allegations that they missed “thousands.”

On Oct. 7, an ACORN office in Las Vegas, Nev., was raided by local police after Colin Haynes, a criminal investigator for the Nevada Secretary of State Securities Division, submitted an affidavit to a judge requesting a search warrant.
He alleged in the affidavit “that employees of ACORN, while employed to solicit members of the public to complete Voter Registration Applications, have themselves completed forms using fictitious and false information.”

As the affidavit reads: “The investigation started on July 2, 2008 when Larry Lomax, Clark County Registrar of Voters, reported to the division that his office had received a significant number of suspicious Voter Registration Application Forms from ACORN.”

Marxism at its finest.

Re: NV: ACORN Submitted ‘Thousands and Thousands of Phony’ Voter Registrations, Count

Even if they had gotten away with registering voters how would they have Mickey Mouse actually go to the voting stations?

Re: NV: ACORN Submitted ‘Thousands and Thousands of Phony’ Voter Registrations, Count

REGISTRATION!

Not VOTING!

Understand the difference and then get back to me.

In 2000 Alberto Gonzalez investigated 37 claims of voter fraud through ACORN in New Mexico and found no voter fraud was being conducted. These are simple examples of lazy employees registering people so they collect their paychecks, but there's no way that Mickey Mouse is showing up to the polls.

^thats what I thought...this entire thing is irrelevant

There were more votes cast in Ohio in 2004 than there were registered voters (by 30,000+). But hey, that's not election fraud, is it?

Seems like Obama's trying real hard to win Indiana, and he's getting some help from ACORN:

More Voter Registration Shenanigans: Indianapolis Has 105% Of Its Population Registered To Vote

Does ACORN have an office in Indianapolis? You know they do.
According to STATSIndiana, In 2007, Indianapolis/Marion County had an estimated population of 876,804. Of that number 232,607 were below 18 years of age, for a total of 644,197 people in Marion County/Indianapolis 18 or over and thus eligible to vote. (Indiana allows felons to vote as long as they are not incarcerated).

So we have 644,197 people eligible to be registered in Marion County/Indianapolis, and 677,401 people registered. Congratulations go to Indianapolis for having 105% of its residents registered!
Across the nation voter registration irregularities are coming to light. Many of these irregularities involving the former employer, ACORN, of one of our Presidential candidates, Barack Obama. Now it comes to light that Obama’s campaign has paid ACORN over $800,000 for “get out the vote” efforts so far this campaign season.
At some point, someone is going to have to look into this stuff.

Stealing the election or shall we say buying it with money. I've been saying it all along.

...sounds like 2000 and 2004 all over again, doesn't it?!?!?!

They didn't fabricate enough votes for Kerry in Ohio in 2004. Doesn't mean they didn't try!

Denny Crane: Did my client tell you that this drug is unapproved by the FDA?
Mark Harrison: Yes.
Denny Crane: Did he tell you that, ah, there could be side effects?
Mark Harrison: Yes.
Denny Crane: You were fully informed.
Mark Harrison: I was.
Denny Crane: You consented.
Mark Harrison: I did.
Denny Crane: Take it again?
Mark Harrison: Absolutely.
Denny Crane: Like the doctor?

Are residents deregistered when they leave town or die? If not, that could easily explain the extra 5%. Over time, people leave town and stay registered, new residents come and register. And, of course, the estimated population could be wrong, too.

Or maybe it is fraud. But I don't think we can say one way or the other from this data.

If the city grew by that number, it'd be hailed as one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

I don't think the fear is that 30,000 extra votes will be cast. More like 10,000 of those could be cast. 10,000 too many.

Yes, but it doesn't have to grow to get new voters. People move out, people move in. People die, people reach voting age.

They're accounting for people dying and reaching voting age. That only leaves people moving in (net) and fraud.

Re: NV: ACORN Submitted ‘Thousands and Thousands of Phony’ Voter Registrations, Count

Now that ACORN and the democrats have rendered the national vote meaningless with as much massive voter fraud as in any third world country, it almost makes me wonder why I vote at all since the election is now so fraudulent.

The democrats have now completely changed us to The People's Republic of States.

Da, commrade!

How would those votes be cast, if they are registered to people who don't exist? To use an example from a previous new story, if "Mickey Mouse" is registered, how do you get "Mickey Mouse" to the voting booth to cast this fraudulent vote?

Over-registration seems more like registration drive groups trying to rip off whomever they are working for, rather than election fraud, since I don't see how these registered non-existant people can be converted into actual votes.

Re: NV: ACORN Submitted ‘Thousands and Thousands of Phony’ Voter Registrations, Count

One fraudulent vote cancels a legitimate vote.

No wonder Obama spent almost a million dollars on ACORN, and no wonder the Democrats earmarked millions more for them in the "bail-out bill".

It's sad what is happening to our democracy, but the cult of personality seemingly has many in either denial or indifference.

Well, liberal activist judges, hundreds of thousands of fruadulent votes, a decided turn as Marxists... The edms have all the bases covered.

The Alinsky model to a 'T', and meanwhile the GOP says 'but we play fair!' while being blamed for everything under the sun by the Pravda media.

Too bad it may be a generation or two before things change.

Of course, things may happen much faster with the internet, but already Obama and the Dems are trying to nationalize the internet by creating the CTO position to regulate content and register every website and the IP addresses that visit it.

But nobody knows about this, so nobody cares. :dunno:

A cabinet position to oversee the internet. Let's just get rid of the 1st Amendment now.

Or doubles it. :dunno:

I'm pretty sure ALL fraudulent voters are Republicans. Trust me on this.

You're just afraid of change.

Sometimes cabinet positions need to be added:

Well, I don't need it to be free, I just want to be able to pay for it! And since you are an Obama guy, I'll give you 10% of my game pie that I purchase, but only because we have a history.

How are they accounting for it? How does a voter get deregistered if they die or move?
I'm not doubting you, I never thought about this before. What's the mechanism?
