Trump, on Hannity said he has immunity from being sued by NY AG Leticia James for tax fraud because he included a disclaimer in his annual proclamations of net worth, essentially saying his own estimates of his wealth may be off. He claims this absolves him of any fraud filed in his taxes and estimates of property values he gave that were inflated or deflated to fix his tax needs and thus there is no case.

I tried to do that with my rent recently. I said "I have a disclaimer. What I feel my rent is this month is not necessarily what you feel it is. But it's on you to get back to me about what I owe. Here is my check".
