Good to have plenty of excuses for declaring for when people actually protest… but I have to wonder if the fight hasn’t been beaten out of most of us already.

From my view civil unrest and domestic terrorism is on the rise...Jan 6th was pretty recent in terms of history...the BLM marches are pretty recent history. It tends to repeat itself. Globally, right wing politics are on the rise in Europe and definitely here stateside. Hopefully there are still enough voters willing to continue to fight against bad legislations that are most certainly going to be introduced over the next 4 years.

Since we don’t get to vote on the legislation we must rely on the stout hearts of Democrat politicians. I’m trying not to laugh too hard writing this.

At least I get a vote on local legislation. We actually will need to rely on the few dozen moderate Republicans in the house and senate to maintain checks and balances for the foreseeable future..the Dems will probably hold serve as a party ..a couple of their stumbling block votes have retired now like Minchen.

Unfortunately, not everyone views January 6th as domestic terrorism. A lot if not all of those prosecuted are about to be pardoned. It will just embolden people who would commit such atrocities to do so again.

I am fully expecting that Trump will use the "rally" just prior to the inauguration to encourage (in the way only Trump can) his MAGA followers to engage in disruptive acts to provide cover for the outrageous (and democracy defying) crap he is going to try and pull from Day One. Why else, after having won the election, would he feel the need for a "rally". I can't believe I am actually considering buying a firearm after 70 years of not needing one.......

He's holding a rally to intimidate Congress into approving his cabinet picks and agenda. Hopefully, Musk will tell him what the agenda is before the rally starts.

Las Vegas bomber left manifesto calling for driving Democrats out of government and returning to masculinity under Trump, Musk and Kennedy Jr. How come Fox "news" doesn't talk about it?

I'll bet the truck had some parts that were manufactured in Mexico. So the blame lies squarely with Mexico.
