...it's a 1950 and it's a gas burner...I converted it from 6 volt to 12 and replaced the generator with a fabricated AC Delco alternator. Things were much simpler when this thing was made and they were designed to be repaired in the fields. You can literally completely disassemble the whole tractor (and I did) with about 5 different size open end or box wrenches and a screwdriver. The carb has maybe 5 parts.
Ahh...I long for a life of simpler times, when a man could rebuild a tractor with only a handful of tools. Best thing you did, was convert it over to 12 volt, I'm preaching to the choir....!
You did one damn fine job, you should think of re-building other tractors as Georgia has many...(again preaching)....
I've printed out the pics, to show my Old Man, 88 yrs old, he will get off on these Pics, an old Mechanic Himself, who went from the big city, to the Farmlands, left the Farm, went to the big small city of Wichita, and went to work on B-52's, had a full life in Aerospace on some great AC. Yet he loves tractors, old cars much more than AC. The man can see any car pre-1970, and nail the make model, and year, like he's still living in the golden era.........Thank You 59, these are a real treat, and will make an old mans day......what part of Georgia did you say you were in? Nothing like a JoeJah Peach, or Vidalia Onions.
Here ya go, Rick.

59, thanks for sharing the pics. I'm gonna forward them to me FIY, he too has the tractor restoration gene.
Macon? Isn't that where they film "The Walking Dead"?
...lol...according to some people, I'm in Arkansas, but I'm actually in South Central Ga....40-50 miles south of Macon, about 8 miles of I-75.
