...lol...according to some people, I'm in Arkansas, but I'm actually in South Central Ga....40-50 miles south of Macon, about 8 miles of I-75.
I'm guessing you live a bit south of Perry, or nearby in other rural directions from Perry: perhaps in Hayneville, Browndale, Pabst, Myrtle, Kathleen, Five Points, or rural areas nearby? Maybe but unlikely in Cochran,or Hawkinsville, ????? Have you been to the Cherry Festival in Macon, or the (whatever it was named) Festival of Crafts in the woods outside of Perry, forget its proper name???
My Lord, small world, I spent a year in 96-97, at the Northrop Plant in Perry, the Office and Base in Warner Robbins. Great AF Museum there..! Loved the stunning country, food, and great people too. GA., Fruit, Produce and Sonny's BBQ are 2nd to none.
I wouldn't live in Arkansaw, or Are-Kan-sas, LOL....after living in GA., Huntsville, or southern Luzianna rural areas. I know your a displaced Yankee, now a Bull-Dawg, not a Razorback.....LMAO...
BTW- I know you used to Caddie or still do, haven't you been a Caddie on the PGA, specifically The Masters-Augusta, or The McGladrey at Sea Island, or Atlanta's Coca Cola Tour??? I can't golf worth a shit, a helplessly hopeless case. I do enjoy getting out to watch PGA at CA., courses, at Thousand Oaks, we saw Zach Johnson take all. (I like that kid, a good role model of a player). In past years, going to watch The Master's was an incredible a Park, and overall aread. Augusta, Columbus Gardens. The Little White House in Warm Springs.
In GA., half the plant would take the week off, to go to the Master's. First year I didn't get it, as workers also took time off work for NASCAR at Talladega, and Daytona. Between Golf and NASCAR, we were lucky to get any work done...!!! ("When no one comes to work, its an indicator to join 'em").
