O.T. Really stinkin hot day

Man in my city (Perth West Aus) it hit a sweltering 44C (or 111F) today. So hot I got burns on the base of my feet from the beach sand...

My question is; whats the most extreme weather your city has had while you have been living there. It never really gets cold here but we get about 13+ 40C days a year. Do you guys get extreme weather too?

Well maybe once a year we will get a huge snow storm, and in the summer for about 2 weeks the highest it will go up to is like from 95-100F, so yea thats about the extreme.

In arizona its routinely above 110 in the summer time; makes going to class a fun game of 'last one to get heat exhaustion wins.'
