Now, now, don't get your panties in a bunch. I mean no harm or insult. If I have offended you I really don't apologize, but didn't intend any harm.

No offense taken, but you're as dense as a matzah ball. You're also demonstrating how little you understand. Perhaps a little more learning and a little less posting would be in order.

Hmm... I've been accused of that before...

Cheap shot. I know a hell of a lot more than you will ever know. I don't post it because this is a freaking message board. I come here for comic relief, Maxie.

What ever you say, Einstein.

Yes, the giant tax cut for the rich caused all of our economic problems. Clinton's giant surplus ended not with 9/11, but before that when the tax cut was enacted. Before 9/11 is when the budget estimates completely went down the drain for future years.

Probably, no one read my article, so I'll excerpt it.

President Barack Obama's approval rating is down to 45 percent, driven in part by growing dissatisfaction on the left with the president's track record in office, according to a new national survey.

..."But drill down into that number and you'll see signs of a stirring discontent on the left," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "Thirty-eight percent say they disapprove because President Obama has been too liberal, but 13 percent say they disapprove of Obama because he has not been liberal enough - nearly double what it was in May, when the question was last asked, and the first time that number has hit double digits in Obama's presidency."

Looking at that figure another way, roughly one in four Americans who disapprove of the president say they feel that way because he's not been liberal enough.

Obama's approval rating among liberals has dropped to 71 percent, the lowest point in his presidency. And the number of Democrats who want the party to renominate Obama next year, now at 77 percent, is relatively robust by historical standards but is also down a bit since June.

"It's likely that this is a reaction to some of Obama's recent actions, including his willingness to discuss major changes in Social Security and Medicare as part of the debt ceiling negotiations," adds Holland.

Some congressional Democrats appeared to be on the verge of open revolt against their own president Thursday night after hearing some of the details in the $3 trillion plan - a package many of them contend does not do nearly enough to ensure wealthier Americans share in the burden of stemming the tide of Washington's red ink.

I just found it ironic that a gay man would criticize a group by calling them something meant as a pejorative which is also somehting he likely performs on a regular basis.

Ya know, Maxie, I have to scratch my head and wonder a bit. Now, you, probably one of the top two posters here for decency and calm headedness are taking another totally uncalled for and uncharacteristic cheap shot by calling me gay (which I'm not, but whatever). And the reason is so idiotic (the fact I shortened the name tea bag to baggers, which to me has no meaning at all) is such a giant leap out of character for you that I have to conclude there's something wrong in your life making you blow off some steam or something and simply aiming it at me without regard to personage. Clearly I meant no harm to you (or anyone else- and you know it) and your persistence to personal attacks against me is shocking to me. Well, in all sincerity and seriousness, whatever is behind this I hope things are well with you. I have the utmost respect for you and out of that respect am turning a blind eye to all this. You have earned the free pass. By the way, if the term 'bagger' has some negative connotation, I certainly do not know what that may be. I made the term up as I was typing the other day. BP

Tea Bagging is slang for stuffing your testicles in another person's mouth.

REALLY??? Honest to God, I did not know that. Hell, no wonder Maxie was touchy. Oh well, I don't keep up on technology or street slang.

I was mistaken. I thought you were aware that Tea Partiers were called Tea Baggers by those who disagree with our goals of limited government. And tea bagging is as Klinky described it, which is why when you used it again, I took it as a deliberate provocation. I apologize for my previous posts.

I'll also try and be more careful about what I say.

Thanks

its not so much the "stuffing" of the balls into a persons mouth, but the dipping in and out, as you would a tea bag into a mug of scalding water.

and if we can call other teams names like someone would do to the "fakers" or "jailblazers" i think it is also fine to make fun of different political parties with funny names as well. could i say "when people say obummer, i take it as a personal insult" and make everyone stop?

whatevs
