Obama is a tough guy war president, dontcha know? His biggest success is single-handedly killing Obama bin Laden, and celebrating it a year later.

I expect him to show up next on an aircraft carrier in a codpiece.

whats funny is how he (Obama) has tripped over himself giving credit to the people who were responsible. and actually not taking sole credit for it.
But that goes against talking points, so I'll let you go back to having your bitch-fest with Zags.

Well, except that Republicans started the women's suffrage movement, and the first woman elected to Congress was a Republican.

If you have to go back 100 years for proof...you've lost.

How many time did he say "I" in his interview with Brian Williams? His speech was over the top, and some Taliban leaders got killed that day for going to a meeting with Karzai and, allegedly, Obama. Then, the Taliban blew up a bomb that killed 7 more people near the American base.

An odd speech to give, considering the Taliban killed 33 US troops in the month of April, and seems nowhere near ready to "compromise".

Yes, Republicans are warring with women. You got me!

thats not what I said. I just said it's funny that you had to go back 100 years instead of in the last decade, where there probably is ample evidence showing that you believe the 'war on women' is as phony as people with any intelligence believe the "war on christmas" is phony.

But like I said, if you have to go back 100 years to prove something NOW, it's not making the point you wish it did.

He fell over himself giving credit to seal team 6, and the military leaders. I guess if you want to act like a president taking credit (or given credit) for something they didn't personally do is bad, then I guess you could find evidence to back it up. But if you want to deal in reality, where people actually use context and common sense, you're pretty much out of luck here.

I guess he should've gone on a air craft cruiser instead. Thats the way a real 'merican does it!

What have the Democrats done for women in the past decade? Hell, in Obama's own White House, women make less than the men.

According to the 2011 annual report on White House staff, female employees earned a median annual salary of $60,000, which was about 18 percent less than the median salary for male employees ($71,000).

Calculating the median salary for each gender required some assumptions to be made based on the employee names. When unclear, every effort was taken to determine the appropriate gender.

The Obama campaign on Wednesday lashed out at presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney for his failure to immediately endorse the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act, a controversial law enacted in 2009 that made it easier to file discrimination lawsuits.

President Obama has frequently criticized the gender pay gap, such as the one that exists in White House.

The "War on Women" is yet another made up issue to try and divide people for votes. I'm sorry you can't see this, but it is apparent to me. Notice how none of the liberal news sources reported this difference in pay based on gender in the White House.

Remember this huge story when Anita Dunn left the White House? Neither do I.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...-was-intense/2011/09/19/gIQA9OUygK_story.html

One of the most striking quotes in the book came from former White House communications director Anita Dunn , who was quoted as saying that, “this place would be in court for a hostile workplace. . . . Because it actually fit all of the classic legal requirements for a genuinely hostile workplace to women.”

are you intentionally stupid, or just on here?

I said it was phony just like the war on christmas.

So what's your beef? And what's the war on christmas?

Calling me stupid isn't an answer, is it?

There were a lot of women who ran as republicans this last election cycle, who lost. Two women ran for governor and senator from California. The Dems pulled out all the stops to assure Harry Reid defeated the woman running against him.

The republicans ran a woman for VP in 2000, the 2nd time in history.

see? Was that so hard? Thats not 100 years ago (and I think you meant 2008, not 2000).

Well, except that Republicans started the women's suffrage movement, and the first woman elected to Congress was a Republican.

Decades before I was born, and I'm old.

That party bears almost no similarities at all to the present-day Republican Party other than name.

In my lifetime, and therefore yours, they have emphatically denied and attacked women's rights across the board.

Thank God for Republicans to even the playing field. Otherwise we would all be mindless communists that embrace federal government to run our lives.

Thank god for communists, otherwise we'd all sell our mothers for a quarter.

Thank god for mothers, because there's really no market for fathers.

barfo

republicans: pro death penalty, pro guns, pro war..... and pro life

We need a "No, I didn't" campaign slogan for Obama.
