The reason PapaG started this thread was that in many threads, he bitterly complained that Obama would appear on Letterman instead of doing whatever PapaG or Netanyahoo wanted Obama to do. So rest assured that PapaG was eagerly watching, but the only breathless complaint he could think of was that Obama got a number wrong.

Perhaps so, but most (not all) of his threads are pretty legit. So he starts a lot of them. Last time I checked, this was a message board where people start threads and engage in conversation about them. If no one started threads, Denny wouldn't be part of the 1% he now enjoys.

What I found most troubling about his comments on the debt was that "we" own most of it. He meant that Americans own most of that debt (some has been monetized, but much is held in private hands). Because individual American taxpayers are owed this money, does he seem to believe it isn't a real debt? That was the vibe I got from his answer. He screwed the GM bondholders; why wouldn't he stick it to US bondholders?

And every time you're asked what these great things are, you can't develop your own thoughts. He hasn't come close to delivering on the majority of his campaign motto and promises. He's been a failure and a liar.
