would all of you prefer our economy stays crap until the election?
Why are you asking this question? Couldn't be a strawman, could it?
given the option of a) continuing agenda, policies and philosophy that have contributed mightily (though not wholly) to our "crap economy", hoping that the results magically get better in the next 6 years....or b) having a 17-month run of "crap" economy to ensure that those policies go away (along with the people who created them, and I'm NOT just talking about the C-i-C), I'd have to go with b, Bob.
What you don't understand is that while our economy is crap today, tossing an extra 4T (and counting!) in debt after it has not had the effect that those who created it projected or desired. Basically, the plan failed, and whatever gains people think have been made in their life ("I get free ObamaCare now!") are wholly unsustainable and will come at the expense of something else (say, their SS payments defaulting or military retirements going away).
As a country we need to take our collective medicine, and the more time that passes without doing so, the more painful it will be.
what the fuck are you talking about
would all of you prefer our economy stays crap until the election?
You asked if people wanted the economy to "stay crap until the election". What kind of idiot would want that, or even ask that question?
im sure lots of idiots would want that, as it would be more reason to vote obama out...what kind of moron doesnt realize that? you might be the only one.
Some of us "morons" would prefer that the country is successful now and in the long term over voting for a candidate because there is a "D" or "R" next to their name.

by chance the economy makes a miraculous turnaround, would you be disappointed? basically, some posters here just hate obama, some just hate the quagmire we are in
im one of them btw, if the gop can sack up and put someone worth voting for up, im all ears
This statement already shows a strong bias. The dems are going to put forth a candidate that has presided over an absolutely terrible economy. If it doesn't get better before election time, it is still up to the GOP to sack up and produce somebody amazing? As things are, I don't think the GOP needs an amazing candidate to do better for this country than what we have.
