There is unrest in the forest
There is trouble with the trees
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas

The trouble with the maples
(And they're quite convinced they're right)
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light
But the oaks can't help their feelings
If they like the way they're made
And they wonder why the maples
Can't be happy in their shade

There is trouble in the forest
And the creatures all have fled
As the maples scream 'Oppression!'
And the oaks just shake their heads

So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights
'The oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light'
Now there's no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet, axe and saw

Government intervention: bad

Government regulation: good

Government regulation: good!

Federal Government regulation of the money and therefore banks makes complete sense to anyone that reads the Constitution. The Federal governments is given total control and the States given no power. Even a libertarian would see this truth.

It makes no sense to protect bank depositor with the FDIC then turn around and allow banks to become Commercial gamblers with Federally insured deposits.

Nor does it make sense to have the Federal Reserve keep track of all monies in the various pockets of usage, regulate the supply in order to maintain the value, while Freddy and Fanny hand out monies willie nilly to any joker with a hand out to plunk down on properties of unsupportable appraised values. Mortgage contracts then to be bundled into some sort of marketable commodity by Commercial gamblers protected by FDIC and politicians of great feeling and empathy.

Curious... what changes with respect to the taxes after 2 hours of OT per day?

I never said it gets taxed more. I'm just saying the amount that gets taxed doesn't justify working more than a couple hours and not having a life outside of work.

Paying people for work actually performed. Wow....how radical a notion.
