Greg only a little bit ahead of Joel? Maybe ready for training camp?
What the hell?!

From talks about if GO can play in the playoffs to he might be ready for training camp? What happend?
That was an awfully quick lucrative deal for Camby, is there something we don't know?![]()

Yeah, just about anything of substance. That won't stop people around here from offering up opinions ranging from Greg will be the starting center on opening night to he'll never play again.![]()
Well maybe there is a reason why the Blazers are interested in trading up to the third or fourth pick after all?
In any case, training camp is a ways off and I've maintained that if he gets to July and is cleared for full workouts and all basketball related activities then there should be enough time for him to not only get in shape but to also start shaking off some of the rust that will have accumulated over the past 7 months.
Crossing my fingers.
Don't cross your fingers - donate your knee ligaments and bone structure along with the rest of us, so that they may have a pool of body parts to take from to rebuild them both.

Well considering I already have a donated cadaver's achilles tendon in place of my original ACL, a torn meniscus and a pile of scar tissue, I'll let them scavenge off of somebody else.
That's pretty intense.
You could say that your knee is your.. achilles heel.
Looks like Greg is going to be here the majority of the summer.
Exactly. We kept hearing about how Oden might be back in time for the playoffs, and now we're hearing that he has a "good chance" of being ready for training camp???? What in the world is going on?Greg only a little bit ahead of Joel? Maybe ready for training camp?

Maybe the rapid weight gain slowed up his rehabilitation process.
I wonder if Greg knows we're out of the playoffs?

The smart move is to not put all your eggs in one basket. If the possibility is there of drafting Cousins, who in his own right will be a top flight center in the NBA down the line, you pull the trigger.
How do you know this? He's projected as the 4th or 5th pick. Sure thing centers go #1 or #2.
Because I watch basketball. He is going 4th or 5th because he is the 4th or 5th best player in this draft. Cousins will be a walking double double in the NBA. There is no such thing as a sure thing. Any player can bomb.

Agreed.

You "watch basketball", and this means Cousins will be a "top flight NBA center". Um, OK. What I do know is that Aldridge has not "bombed", and is the 2nd best lottery pick from his draft class. I also watch basketball, for what it's worth.![]()
