Its not the country hates women. I work closely with law enforcement and i check the arrest records often. Ive noticed violent criminals with assaults, assault and battery, armed robbery, aggrivated assault, ect ect. Tend to get out of jail within 24 hours while people with minor posession are locked up for weeks or longer. Its really a shame.

That's great and all but this is only one example of how our country doesn't protect women.
 
Wow, he got off a lot easier than she did...and that's jot something you want to see I these situations.

They ignore all violent crime. Not just against women. Women like to cherry pick facts to feel oppressed. Greg oden could have assaulted me the same way and probably wouldnt have even been fined. Catch him with an ounce of pot though.

This. It would have been less if he'd hit a man, certainly not the counseling. The justice system is confusing. Rich guy steals $1 million, does less time than the poor guy who robbed $100 from a gas station. Same with credit card theft. Police won't waste 10 minutes on it. IDK

Yep. Im mostly conservative politically but raegans war on drugs really fucked our justice system. People who cant function in society I.e. violent offenders and people who embezzled millions. Should be removed. I dont give a fuck about a self destructing junkie or a pot head stimulating the economy 5 bag of Doritos at a time.
 
Oh well, she only had "moderate bodily injury". Nothing to worry about.

Like I said there are many other examples. The fact that women still earn 77 cents on the dollar compared to their male counterparts is another.
 
Greg got off light. Whatever damage he inflicted, they are both lucky it wasn't much worse. It seems probable that the extent of her willingness to demand a stiffer sentence, and therefore the conditions of the plea agreement, may have been impacted by the extent of financial compensation she received for what he did. At least, I hope she lightened his wallet a fair amount. Maybe that's why he had to go to China.

And there are alternative calculations that show a smaller overall gap. Still, the 77-cent ratio is a credible figure from a credible agency. We rate the claim Mostly True.

I debated this shit with my English teacher and she failed me for not agreeing with her. If you consider job title, experience, training, anything resembling a wage gap disappears. Sure. If you average every working man and every working woman there is a gap but thats an unfair comparison.

Salaries are negotiated before work contracts are signed, if women feel oppressed, tell them to negotiate better.

I work with a woman who makes more than me. We have the same title, do the same work. She has more experience. Seems fair to me. Oh wait, I should claim prejudice.

And let's not get started on welfare. I just dropped out of college because I didnt get financial aid. I was told I didnt qualify, while a female I work with got a full ride and we make the same money. I even filled out my fafsa before her
