Not sure about that sheriff. He was doing what he was supposed to do when he testified. I'm sure he was subpoenaed. I just know the natives aren't getting handshakes and left alone to protest for 41 days. They're being met with violence and YES I believe it's because they're not white.

This notion needs to die. We don't commit more crimes. Our neighborhoods are more heavily policed. THAT'S the reason why white people smoke more weed than blacks but we're 4x more likely to be arrested for it.

None of you in here would want to trade your treatment in society for the treatment of POC but CONSTANTLY want to act like that privilege doesn't exist.

I don't believe for one second that that officer would be shaking hands like that with the ND protestors. I don't believe for the next second that they'd be able to occupy THEIR OWN LAND taken by imminent domain freely for 41 days. And it was only taken AFTER white people in Bismark protested for the same reason the tribes are protesting. I don't see any police in riot gear arresting them. They said "no, fuck it. We'll take these natives land and run our pipeline there. Because, you know, fuck them".

No imminent domain in Bismark.
