After yesterday's practice some random reporter asked Nate if he thought Greg would need surgery. Nate basically said he hopes not.

The fan used that audio clip in their sportscenter update this morning. Not sure if this is what the originator of this thread is talking about.

I thought both were and either would be a fine selection, though I leaned towards Oden.

I still hope I am proven correct.

Is the injury to the same knee he had surgery on, or the other knee?
 
Pritchard said yesterday on the Fan that the team was told that doctors didn't think surgery would be necessary.

That was their speculation, based on ... their speculation.

Who knows, he might need to get it scoped and cleaned up, but let's hold off on the necktie party until Monday when the doctors actually monitoring him say something, instead of two radio jocks.
 
Sorry to all the debbie downers on here champing at the bit to go ape shit and meltdown next week, but sadly Jason Quick just reported on the pre-game show that Jay Jensen said there has been improvement in Greg's knee. It pains me to bring you this bad news, as I'm sure you had a 1500 word essay locked and loaded decrying the Oden pick.

I remember pippen having something similar like this with his elbow I don't think he was out that long if I remember right but then again this could be something different
