Do you think he will have a good game or be rusty? Lets see your guesses.

I think he will be a bit rusty and will definately have trouble with fouls, especially against a very small, pesky and fast team like the Pacers. Remember, in Greg's own words, he plays more physical than everybody else...hehe

I am guessing 6 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block, and 4 fouls in about 16 minutes.

102 points, 54 rebs, 23 blks in 24 minutes.

After the long lay-off, he'll be totally stoked to play in front of his family and friends. Look for him to have the best game in the history of the Earth.

Of course, if he falls short of those numbers, someone here will label him a bust and call him the next Sam Bowie.

BNM

Greg looks sleepy. wake up big fella!

7 rebounds, 2 blocks, 5 pts and one broken leg.:devilwink:

Yeah I was gonna post the same thing as Tortimer.. couldnt watch no good link.. stupid comcast.

Yes, Greg had a good game tonight in his limited play. Did a really good job on D and got some points also.

He played quite well. Only played 11-12 minutes, but got 7 boards and 4 points and was a difference-maker on defense.

Also nice: He avoided fouls.

I didnt get to see Oden play tonight. I'm not sure if your kidding. Did Oden actually play well tonight?

No joke. He looked absolutely dominant on defense in the short 11 minutes he was in the game.

Oden looked just fine. His presence was felt. They did not force it in to him, so he didn't have an opportunity to post up (Which is fine with me) Overall he did not look rusty at all.

Wow awesome to hear! I too forgot the impact he can have on the game even without scoring.

Great and I couldn't be happier if Oden can play off the bench and we don't need to use Frye anymore or at least just in garbage time.

I didn't watch the game, but I was looking at the Box Score and this surprised me:

MIN: 11:52
+/-: +21

Yes, he did. 7 rebounds in 11 minutes. Made his presence felt. First game back in over a month. Impressive.

Things are just different with Oden in the game. Guys are more wide open. He doesn't have to set a screen to be a screener, sometimes he just blocks a section of the lane off. Rebounds and blocks lead to transition buckets. The other team actually pays attention to him on offense. Those types of things.

I had forgotten it too, but not having him for 15 games made his absence much more noticeable to me. There are few players in the league that can match up with him, so stats don't tell the entire story on what he means to the team.

Throw Oden in garbage time too. Get him minutes. Get him confidence.

I slept through the game so I missed it too, but when I check the box score that was what jumped out to me. Roy was the only player that had a better + stat and the other players were not even close.

Rudy -10? Ouch. What's a shame is he finally seem to be getting over the wall before he was injured.
