Oden to choose between the Cavs and Heat

OMG if he is half the efficiency as he was with the Blazers and on the Heat; they would be unstoppable. It really sucks that he doesn't choose Portland but I don't blame him. He's had nothing but bad luck here.

Well their are a lot of Chics and clubs he can get drunk in.

Seriously. Is that even a choice? Cleveland? or Miami? Gee.....let's see.

Odds are poor he'll even play so he might as well party. Maybe he'll buy some ESPN time for the big 'decision'.

Good for him. Cavs are up and coming. Especially with another lotto pick.

How would you feel if he came back and became a dominant defensive presence, missing only 10-15 games a season?

We should trade Babbitt to Miami for him.

Muhahahahahahaha!

I have no hard feelings for Greg. Just our medical and training staff.

Greg was such a bright and funny kid when he was drafted. What a bright future. Everyone was giddy. He obviously took it hard and took it personally when he kept getting hurt. His body let him down and he felt he let everyone else down. Then a whole bunch of fans let him down by hating on him because he kept breaking.

I wish he'd come to Portland and play for whatever we can offer. I've said it before: I think he owes us. But I don't blame him for doing what's best for him. Everyone of us would do what was best for ourselves were we in his shoes.

Between the two, I hope he goes to Cleveland and has a solid career for them. Cleveland, and Greg, both deserve some good luck. I'll root for him. If he goes to Miami, I hope their whole team catches the Mr. Glass virus.

I would love to see him do well in Cleveland. I would really love him to be that dominant presence there too. It would be so funny if he could knock out Miami in the first round! Hahahaha

I wish him well. But I am glad he is going to play in the east.

Odens next big injury will be in his return to the rose garden. just watch.....that is if he does ever get back on the court

Hope he goes to Miami. His career will likely be short lived, and I want to see him extract as much success out of his limited time on the court as possible. He's a good guy with rotten luck, and I wish him the best.

The best is Miami.

If Cleveland will pay him $4m, he should do it. With his injury history, he'll be lucky to play more than half of any given season, and I can't see him even coming close to playing to even 30 years-old.

PapaG is right, but the Heat need more drama.

On Sportsnation voting on ESPN.com; they asked what team would Oden best fit in. Ironically, I looked at the results and it's really funny. The surrounding areas that would most likely be SAS, Lakers and OKC fans; they voted for Oden to go to Cleveland (oh and of course Cleveland voted for Oden too). No one wants to face the Heat if Oden can actually produce anything of significance.

The Cavs are horrible every year. It would take a while.
